My understanding is that witches was a rough translation of poisoner...poison was often the only weapon women could readily get their hands on back in “olden days”...something I read, not on Google but in a book...

Insane people in to the occult and worse, usually take drugs.

That’s all too sadly real.

They don’t have magic powers, if that’s what’s meant by are they “real.”

"Are witches real? Of course!"

Obamacare. We have to pass it to find out what's in it.

From Brigadoon:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hr2tFy1qImw

Scotsman:
Two hundred years ago the Highlands
of Scotland were plagued with witches...
wicked sorcerers who were takin’ the Scottish people...
away from the teachings of God and puttin’ the devil into their souls.
“They were indeed horrible, destructive women.” I do not suppose you have such women.

Van Johnson:
Witches? “Oh, we have ‘em. We pronounce it differently.”

“Me, I believe in Jesus Christ as my lord and savior.”

Me too... And that alone is like putting hot coals on their heads.

They are afraid the Light will melt them.

maybe our ancestors weren’t so ‘ignorant’ when they were burning witches at the stake.

Ain’t that the truth. They’re chasing all kinds wierd stuff these days. When I was a kid, it was just Bigfoot. Now on reality TV they’re chasing a moth-man, a half dog half women, sounding more like the carnival has opened their cages to the woods. But Jesus Christ? Oh no that’s far fetched for them.
