In radio interview, Harris makes a debate prediction: ‘I think he’s going to lie.’

Vice President Kamala Harris expects former President Donald J. Trump to lie repeatedly during their debate Tuesday, she said in a radio interview that was broadcast on Monday.
“We should be prepared for the fact that he is not burdened by telling the truth,” Ms. Harris told Rickey Smiley, a morning radio host whose show is
broadcast on 76 stations. “We should be prepared for the fact that he is probably going to speak a lot of untruths.”
Ms. Harris’s prediction, which she made in an interview she recorded last Wednesday, serves as a bit of table-setting for a campaign that has in recent days sought to both lower expectations for the vice president and pump up Mr. Trump’s debating abilities.
Ms. Harris’s prediction that Mr. Trump will “speak a lot of untruths” hardly requires a lot of imagination. The former president spent years spreading a lie about former President Barack Obama’s birthplace, then kept a cottage industry of fact-checkers employed during prior campaigns and in his presidency.
During his 2024 campaign, Mr. Trump has regularly exaggerated or made up facts in addition to misrepresenting his own record. How Ms. Harris and the moderators from ABC News respond or aim to fact-check Mr. Trump is a key question about Tuesday’s debate.
“I think he’s going to lie,” Ms. Harris said. “He has a playbook that he has used in the past, be it, you know, his attacks on President Obama or Hillary Clinton. So we should expect that some of that might come out.”

Calling truths “lies” is basic Democrat policy.

She has now signaled to the MSM the post-debate theme of their analysis: “Trump lied XXX number of times.”

This is their consistent response. When Joe drooled all over himself and proved to the world that he was incapable of being the Dem nominee, the media tried very hard to make the official “takeaway” from that June debate to be: “Trump lied”. It wasn’t true, and it wasn’t what the public decided to focus on.

That’s it? That’s the best she can do? Claim that Donald Trump is going to lie? That’s an old, tired line that hasn’t worked. And guess what Republicans think Harris is going to do? Lie.

This is the democrat tactic to prepare the NPCs and inside-the-bubble believers to hear things they normally don’t hear.
The media has such a stranglehold on the narrative for large segments of our population, and the “debate” is a forum with one voice that they will not be able to control.
So they can’t even wait for Trump to talk. They are already calling the truth “lies”.

To be fair, I expect such incomprehensible nonsense to come out of her mouth that there’s no way to know what she’s actually saying.

There's a new one.

This is a psychological tactic to make her supporters automatically reject anything Trump says without even actually considering what he is saying.
It makes her supporters impervious to being persuaded.
