A doctor is speaking up about the surge in cancer cases among young people - revealing 'every new patient' that comes to his clinic is under 45 years old.
North Carolina's Duke University oncologist Dr Nicholas DeVito says he and his colleagues have experienced a complete demographic switch in recent years.
Based on what he's seeing everyday, talking to patients on the ground and analyzing the data, he blames the rise of junk food diets.
Nearly 75 percent of food consumed in the US is considered ultra-processed and it is teeming with additives and potentially harmful ingredients.
Numerous studies have found an association between a high ultra-processed foods (UPFs) diet and more than 30 conditions, including multiple cancers, and an early grave.

The physician wrote for STAT News: 'The desire to protect Americans from substances that cause cancer and other diseases should transcend party affiliation and political motivation to overcome industrial lobbying efforts.
...
Between 1990 and 2019, cases of cancer in young people across the globe increased by 79 percent and deaths rose 28 percent.
The US has the sixth highest rate of early-onset cancers - disease in people under 50 - with 87 cases per 100,000 people younger than 50 years old.
And studies project diagnoses of early-onset cancers will rise by 31 percent and deaths will rise by 21 percent by 2030.
Cancers increasing the fastest include throat and prostate cancers. Early-onset cancers with the highest mortality include breast, tracheal (windpipe), lung, stomach and colon.
...
Dr DeVito wrote: 'I hope to have a long career in oncology and eventually practice in an era where the US has turned the tide against early-onset gastrointestinal cancers and few, if any, of my patients are under age 50.'

I believe that. Having seen relatives diets.
There’s the problem - junk food diet. You have to offset or counter the evil effects of junk food with alcohol as a topical antiseptic and the occasional cigar to clear the throat.
I believe it was RFKjr, who said recently that there are about 1000 chemicals permitted in our foods that are not allowed in Europe. I personally know people who can eat things in Europe that they cannot eat in the USA without feeling sick.
Well, since I’m over 45 now this isn’t all bad news. /sarc
Food additives.
Everything was fine until 2019 then all of a sudden a huge surge of cancer cases due to food additives.
This is what doctors expect us to listen to.
I’ve seen and heard the same things. Tell ya what, if there was a safe country over there that I could immigrate to, I’d surely consider it.
Heh... yeah, it was an additive all right.
You can’t reach old age by another man’s road. My habits protect my life but they would assassinate you.

Dung beetles will save the day!
Eat your daily amount of delicious insects. Cancer free. You’ll be okay
Fire everyone from the FDA, send it to the states.
States have institutions called “STATE UNIVERSITIES” to figure this out. It isn’t the government’s job.
Yes, stay off the junk food, smoke cigars and drink bourbon, that is the key to a long and happy life.
RFK Jr. is correct and so are you.
In the EU there is something called an E Number, chemicals approved for use in food. We don’t use that system.
Twice I have heard people from two different countries, Japan and Romania, asking what’s in the food here. They were slim before moving here and now they’re getting fat.
The food in Europe is really good in my opinion.
I have a buddy says highly processed food here in America makes him feel like crap after eating it.
I have been told Croatia is nice, but never been.
Trouble with Europe is you have to leave your stash behind. And they seem to have major and bloody wars pretty frequently. In their front yards.
Course we’re staring down the barrel of one here. But at least we got a stash.
Yes. Disingenuous naiveté is the most charitable explanation for this guy’s obtuseness. I’m just surprised he didn’t attribute the post-2021 cancer surge to “climate change.” No mention, of course, of the gigantic elephant.
“Everything was fine until 2019 then all of a sudden a huge surge of cancer cases due to food additives.”
Riiight. “Additives”. That’s the ticket. 🙄
I believe it was likely the Covid ‘vaccine’. There has been an explosion of ‘turbo cancer’ since the vax was implemented. Crummy food additives have been around for years, and are getting worse - but not as harmful as the experimental Covid ‘vaccine’.
Without intact families kids grow up on instant foods they can microwave or snack on, fast food is probably thought of as more a real meal.
The wife and I have noticed that things don’t taste the same anymore. Normal (unprocessed) things are okay but most cereals, sodas, cookies, gum, even lifesavers and jelly beans (yeah, junk food) are now ‘artificially’ flavored.
I guess it’s cheaper and easier to make a chemical that kinda tastes like Coke or Root Beer than it is to use natural flavors nowadays.
Good news is we’ve both lost weight and eat more fruit and homegrown vegetables.
Oh, and being way past 45 means I don’t have to worry about cancer! /s
Could it be the experimental, useless clot shot that was given to over 75% of the U.S. citizenry multiple times? Yes it was.
