The presidential candidate has repeatedly claimed the alleged work experience in an attempt to connect with low-wage workers.
Claim: In the 1980s, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris worked at McDonald's while she got her undergraduate degree.

Harris has made this claim repeatedly over the years, and multiple reputable news outlets have reported on the story. But, aside from Harris' testimony itself, there is no evidence (such as a photo, employment record, or confirmation from a friend or family member) to independently verify the claim. Though we've seen no reason to doubt its veracity, we've reached out to Harris' campaign and McDonald's for evidence to corroborate her claim and we'll update this report when we learn more.
Aside from the above-mentioned news reports, there was no tangible evidence of Harris working at McDonald's as a college student. We reached out to Harris' campaign, as well as McDonald's headquarters, seeking such proof — which could include photos or videos of her working at the restaurant, employment records or physical items such as a uniform or name tag. We also looked for public interviews by friends or family members of Harris' to confirm the story, with no luck.

I think you are suggesting she worked “at” a McDonald’s in the same way she worked “with” Willie Brown.

Reminiscent of 0bungle’s claim that he worked a summer at Basking Robbins.
Turned out he worked there for 2 or 3 weeks and handed out free ice cream to his friends.

I never worked there, but I got lots of free food when the “Russians Russians Russians” boycotted the Olympics back in ‘84

I’d say she knows VERY little about how business functions so it’s easy to doubt even McDonalds.

Exactly right. It is a law for every business except for contracts on a 1099. The self employed have to pay in double. 50% as an employee and match 50% as their own employer. The one tax you cannot hide from in any way is Social Security.

Her running-mate Walz was a five star general... Or was it a Sargent??? Or a Warrant Officer??? Or Chief Warrant Officer??? They keep telling us BS, and the mainstream press keeps eating it up like it’s breakfast.
So, Harris claims, without evidence, that she worked at McDonald’s.
Walz was likely bullied by Chief Warrant Officers. We eat MSGs for breakfast.

Worked "at" McDonald's, as a college student. Shows a singular lack of ambition/qualifictions/ability to work at fast-food while in college. Perhaps she sometimes did homework there.
