❕ "Bermuda Triangle" for the Ukrainian Armed Forces: Malaya Loknya - Cherkasskoye Porechnoye - Nechayev
In their attempts to break through to Lgov and Kurchatov, the Kiev regime's forces have been disappearing without a trace for the third week in a row in three settlements. Elite Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades, such as the 95th and 80th Air Assault Brigades, along with Western equipment, are being ground down in this "Bermuda Triangle."
At one point, the Ukrainian forces even managed to enter Nechayev, but this only led to huge losses and a forced retreat.
The Ukrainian command's primary objective was to capture these settlements, but why did the plan fail?
Here’s why, according to the "Northern Wind":
▫️ First of all, due to an incorrect assessment of the Russian Armed Forces' ability to deploy reserves to threatened areas;
▫️ Incorrect assessment of their own forces, with mass refusals of personnel to enter Russian territory after receiving orders;
▫️ Problems with communication and Starlink on Russian territory. The Ukrainian Armed Forces were not prepared for such a scenario.
Currently, fierce battles are ongoing in the area, and the Ukrainian forces are sending in new reserves that were originally intended for other tasks. This territory is now turning into another graveyard for NATO military equipment and Ukrainian soldiers.

Always knew generally that Musk's service was important for Ukraine Army communications, but didn't realize they would fail without it, or it was their only option.
Perhaps that's why Biden and his DOJ have not already pulled a "Pavel Durov" on Musk.
This is an interesting report from the X thread:
Problems with communication and Starlink on Russian territory. The Ukrainian Armed Forces were not prepared for such a scenario.
Thanks, that is interesting...
To be honest, even on FR I get stories that make it sound like Ukraine is rocking and stories that make it sound like Ukraine is done.
Of course the stories are fact based and FAR BETTER than the msm lies.
I don’t know what to think...it would seem a much larger army, if only equally well equipped, would win.
But what do I know.
“...it would seem a much larger army, if only equally well equipped, would win.”
But it’s been over 2 years and they can’t win... So what’s up with that?
What was up with America in Vietnam?
We fought half a war because of idiot politicians.
Putin doesn’t care nearly as much about world opinion but he DOES CARE enough to make wholesale slaughter of 100s of thousands at a time impossible.’
Thank God.

Over by 10/1. Write it down. 95% of all military, passenger, and freight railroad transportation is gone. It’s ALL electric. There’s no interstate system and the country is HUGE to relocate anything. The Russian lines of communication couldn’t be in better condition. And they are for the most part, operating with impunity.
Don’t forget Afghanistan.....
“Over by 10/1. Write it down”
Ok sure Janet
It has been suggested that the Ukrainians were able to mass troops for their Kursk offensive only because Russia thought that the troops near Kursk were just replacements for the Ukrainian troops along the Belarus border.
Other than that, both sides are limited to scouting operations followed by small swift troop level movements that can only take small areas of ground.
We never invaded North Vietnam, and they were on the other side of the world, and it was never our number one focus, Russia was.
The biggest takeaway from the past ten days in Ukraine is the appearance of a massive supply of Russian Drones which is increasing daily.
Ukraine Intelligence knew Russian Drone factory production would begin in early July 2024. The Russian MOD announced that initial production was 1,000 drones a day.
The Kursk campaign began with orders to capture the Kursk NPP or to damage it. Fifteen thousand soldiers entered Ukraine, and the second week saw a rotation of about 4,000 returning to Ukraine and plans for more than 90,000 Ukrainian reserves and support troops streaming into the area. Ukraine was only able to get about 16,000 men into Russia before the noose closed.
Russia reclaimed two towns this morning in Kursk area, and found all the civilians had been lined up and executed by the Ukrainian Advanced Scout teams who were sent ahead to hold towns awaiting arrival of the main force, which didn’t arrive.
Already designated as Terrorists for the NPP attacks, these soldiers in Kursk are faced with the grim prospect of having to fight to the death. Russia wants to eliminate them with firepower.
Russia is bombarding them. A massive amount of firepower is being used. Russia forces are not engaging in close combat in most of the fire pocket, unless the Ukrainians attack. The AFU is pinned down. Supplies are being cut. Zelinski is doubling down.
Russian drones come in four different types. They now have advanced surveillance drones, and three variants of their new advanced drones. Night vision, GPS guided or pilot guided variants are wrecking havoc deep into the front in every sector along the front.
Ukrainian drones were a major game changer. Now that Russia has them and in greater numbers, coupled with superior manpower and aviation bombing Ukraine doesn’t stand up long in defensive positions as they did for the first two years.
I have little doubt that the Ukes will see the outflank of outflanks when Putin gets the forty mile column from Belarus band back together. And that “come hither”, rope a dope operation to draw them into the Kursk Pocket, Brilliant! Stonewall would be proud if they can now move their arses from Belarus to Kiev.
Not quite true. Russia is taking a lot of ground further south. Ukraine is evacuating (mandatory) large area (blue) and Russian troops are moving in.
Ukraine is losing it’s air defense, they are moving brigades to Kursk leaving Donetsk to the Russians, and there are now reports that commanders are moving FPV drone pilots onto the front lines where they will be much less effective. So yes, Russia is now taking more land faster. Ukraine has desperate ideologues for leaders making stupid decisions.
Is that a new Russian talking point?
