But I read an article here on FR yesterday that reported a prototype Boba Fett figure from Kenner went for…$1.8 million?!? Three times as much for a toy that never went into production!
For 630K I’d hold out for a DNA test.
The problem with these types of collectibles is that their value is highly dependent on nostalgia, and when the generation that has that particular nostalgia dies off...
Most people are wealthier today than a generation ago.
Indie’s costume was inspired by the one Charlton Heston wore in the 1954 movie “Secret of the Incas”.
