The greed is unreal.
When football fans realized that it costs a whopping $679.99 for NFL Sunday Ticket through the Apple Store, or $739.99 if you decide to bundle in NFL RedZone, a ton of them went absolutely bonkers in anger.
The ridiculous prices were revealed by NBC Sports’ ProFootballTalk, and understandably so, it set off a reaction of rage among the NFL‘s fanbase. And to nobody’s surprise, that $679.99 price tag (or $739.99) to watch through Apple TV, iPads, iPhones and other Apple devices is the highest price out of all streaming services. Because of course it is.
It was rumored in 2023 that Apple spoke with the NFL about including access to Sunday Ticket in their Apple TV+ subscription that costs just $6.99. That’s all it would’ve cost under Apple’s plan. But the NFL being the greedy brand that they are, declined. (RELATED: ‘Sign The Contract’: Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill Issues Official 50-Yard Challenge To US Olympic Gold Medalist Noah Lyles)
Oh, but it gets worse.
According to a report from Courthouse News, ESPN made the suggestion to the NFL to bring down their price to $70 per month. But nope, that wasn’t good enough for the league either.
Kudos to Apple and ESPN for at least trying to bring down the Sunday Ticket price. The NFL, on the other hand, should be utterly ashamed of themselves.
My wife and I are over here saving up for a house … there’s no way in hell I can justify spending this much money on a TV package. (Anybody down to be my Sunday Ticket sponsor?)
Ping!............😣
I have boycotted the NFL since they went woke and decided to fund and otherwise support anti-white racism.
Hopefully those high prices will convince some more folks to do the same.
Why conservatives still watch this woke crap is beyond me. Go out and take a walk, enjoy the weather, take a bike ride or go for a hike.
“But the NFL being the greedy brand that they are, declined. “
Why would the NFL accept that amount if someone else was willing to pay more.
Most NFL games I watch are over the air so my only cost is the price of the antenna I bought a few years back.
I can barely justify spending $20 at the movies.
White people living their lives vicariously through a favorite player(s) or team has made pro football (and basketball) what they are today.
If white folks would boycott the nfl you would see these ridiculous costs plummet back to more reasonable prices.
its almost like people are brainwashed.. .at the end of the day sports is nothing more than entertainment but people live it, breath it and spend tons of money on it.
One thing for sure, the football team in my city isn’t getting one penny from me....and if it packed up and moved tomorrow I’d get drunk for joy.
Go to a bar, buy a drink, nurse it for the game. Costs what, $10. 17 games = $170.
I wouldn’t watch one minute of those kneeling woketards if they pain ME the $679.99.
I’m a Directv customer and the Red Zone Channel has been on for a long time, even last year after Directv lost the Sunday Ticket package.
Strictly from a fantasy football aspect, I enjoy the Red Zone channel, especially at the end of games because a lot of NFL games are decided in the last few seconds of the game.
If for some reason you have to pay extra this year on Directv for the Red Zone channel, I will let it pass, no way am I giving the NFL any money to watch.
I haven’t watched an NFL game in years, and I don’t plan on starting now.
Greed? It's a zero sum game and as more people stop watching the NFL, those who still watch the NFL, which aligned with Communist organizations such as Black Lives MatterTM, end up paying more. May they pay double and even triple.
I watch college football....Don’t care for pro football anymore...
I understand those who love to watch football on the weekend, and I totally understand the appeal of watching local high school football games, but for me the shine has been off the rose for the NFL for a long time. Same for the NBA. I have no desire to make people who don’t respect me rich.
Bar owners may be having second thoughts. They have to pay for each TV......................
I can barely justify spending $20 at the movies.

I’d like to know who is buying these packages.
More importantly, how many?
In economics we learned that there is a perfect price for every product. If you charge too little, you don’t cover your costs. If you charge too much, the volume of sales drop more than the increase in margins.
It is difficult to imagine that you don’t diminish your sales volume far more than you can recover from the higher prices.
Some of the other factors that we learned about in economics with the best price graph were demand and competition.
The demand is not extremely high for an entertainment item. However, there is very little competition to the NFL except ‘college football’.
“So long as they (the Proles) continued to work and breed, their other activities were without importance. Left to themselves, like cattle turned loose upon the plains of Argentina, they had reverted to a style of life that appeared to be natural to them, a sort of ancestral pattern...Heavy physical work, the care of home and children, petty quarrels with neighbors, films, football, beer and above all, gambling filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult.” ― George Orwell, 1984
Infuriate me? No. I found it cheerful. The NFL should take these suckers for every penny they have.
Anyone patronizing the NFL after they knelt in solidarity with Communist organizations like Black Lives MatterTM and spit in the face of all Americans, deserves to lose a lot of money.
Football season spans fishing and hunting seasons. My time is far too valuable to spend parked in front of a TV watching grown-ups play kid games.
