Dogs ... there are no words for how much I love them.
I had to hug my two doofuses after reading this.
So maybe once a month for the four month prison stay, he can have a pillowcase put over his head and some of the other prisoners can beat him with baseball bats. Not enough to kill him -- the first three times. Fourth time, all bets are off.
And I'm no particular fan of chihuahuas. I think they're yippy little ankle-biters. But they have every right to live free of violence from cruel assholes.

I have known two chihuahuas well, and liked both of them. Yes, they were “real dogs.” Neither was “yappy.” They often made me laugh. Little kids were crazy about them.
My heart breaks for the pup.

It took two years for this case to come to trial. I very much doubt he remained living with his mom and auntie while waiting, but it’s never stated in the article.
This probably was far from being the first animal he’s beaten to death.
Psychotherapy should have been part of the sentence.
Someone needs to beat him to death. Slowly. Painfully.
I won’t read beyond the title because I’ll throw up. Just want to say that if he’ll do this to a helpless animal, he WILL do it to a child — and then most likely move on to women.
That guy looks like a psychopath on heavy meds, legal or otherwise. May his future be either hideously bleak or very short.
