@JohnStossel

Harris set to propose a ban on price gouging.

CNN Article

Sad her 1st big policy announcement is economically illiterate.

"Gouging" didn't cause inflation, Biden's spending did.

Her naive staff could learn from these @EductionSITC students why “gouging” is good.

“I see stupid people. They’ve everywhere”.

This is why Kamala will win. Too many stupid people vote.

As long as it “sounds” good to the ignorant lemmings, it won’t matter how illiterate it is.

Such is the power of propaganda. I have a few Democrat friends who are all-in for Kamala. They’re smart enough. But they get all their news from corrupt sites like MSNBC.

If you’re told 1+1 = 3 often enough, pretty soon you will confidently state that 1+1 really does equal 3.

It’s very frustrating.

Or perhaps worse.

Didn’t Safeway try to leave San Francisco and was somehow forced to stay?

I’ve tried the line that “The debate showed you that you were lied to about Biden and his cognitive state in a big way. You’ve also been lied to similarly about Trump.” People still caught in the legacy media’s grasp are immune to logic, is what I learned.

Yes, indeed. In the past I have tried to gently discuss issues with my Democrat friends. I get nowhere. They just get all worked up, angry even.

I fear that the only thing that *might* get them to see the light is pain. As in paying $8 for a loaf of bread and $15 for a gallon of gasoline.

The only problem there is that I also will be paying $8 for a loaf of bread and $15 for a gallon of gasoline.

Cringe worthy. How can anyone defend price controls. Americans can now look forward to shedding all that excess weight on the Maduro Diet!

She’ll probably back down from this proposal. It’s been beat up so badly before the announcement they can’t possibly go through with it.

I remember the 1970s. I’m that old. They were blaming some unidentifiable “middle man” for the inflation. That “middle man” was somewhere between the manufacturer and the retailer.

Gouging is not good but because we do not have a moral populace anymore it will happen more and more. Capitalism is not the reason for gouging, it is the lack of morals.

I believe Capitalism, free-markets are a gift from God but we have to use our right reason to do what is right while being productive and industrious. Industry and initiative are great things but WE need to be careful and use God's Wisdom and teachings to keep it wholesome.

People need to stop blaming Capitalism/Free Markets for the immorality of men.

If, as you say, it sells, then Trump’s direct appeal to waitresses across the country, you can keep your own money, should sell, too. The same should go for seniors and Social Security.

So, I think Trump has come up with a brilliant end run-around on this. People think with their wallets and promised cash is immediate.

It doesn’t hurt to point out that the high prices are the fault of this administration, while you’re promising cash. More people will listen.
