Terrifying doorbell video has captured the moment a Florida couple was ambushed, shot and robbed just outside their home after hitting a slot machine jackpot at a casino.
Kim Chambliss and her boyfriend Val Delacruz were targeted by two masked assailants soon after they cashed their $3,300 winnings at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa on Aug. 2, Fox 13 reported.
The two alleged perps — later identified as Marcus Jenkins, 34, and Tristin Wright, 36 — had watched the couple gamble and play the slots for roughly two hours before tailing them home just before 5 a.m., cops said.
The suspects allegedly opened fire on the unsuspecting couple in their driveway after demanding they cough up their winnings.

if you are going to do this all you have to do is watch the tables and watch for a big pile of chips.
Baccarat players play big but they can also be very superstitious. They might be more cautious. A casino I go to told me that they frequently get players who ask to raise limit on hand to 25k a hand.
I learned all kinds of weird stuff these baccarat players do to the cards as if I will make a difference. They will even pick up the cupholders and bang them on the table. the more superstitious tend to be Asians.

I don't know what the options are for paying out casino winnings are these days. It is been a bunch of years but there was a similar type case in my area. Somebody won big at a gambling boat with a take of around $25K. The victims took the winnings in cash and were robbed at some point during there travel back home across the state. Fortunately for the victims, they were not injured. The robbers were caught because of casino video cams and cell phone pings of 2 different cars following the victims..

And the floor dicks didn’t see those guys lurking around and watching the players? Something doesn’t smell right here.
That's a good idea, going to a hotel.
If I won bigly at a casino, I'd go to a local top-tier hotel with valet parking service and have them take the car while I go inside. I might even stay the night (I did just win bigly, after all) and then go home in the morning.
Or I might just hang out in the lobby for an hour and then pay the valet fee and go home. Either way, anybody tailing me would probably give up after seeing the valet drive away with my car.
It's a good thing I don't have any casinos near me; the nearest one is over an hour away.
