Either you are too stupid or too cowardly to create the actual link to that article you cite as "If that had not changed"; when in fact, the 2023 SCRF decision you falsely reference as outlawing homosexuality in Russia did nothing of the sort, it did not change Russia's 1993 law repealing Article 121.1's criminalization of homosexuality one iota. Homosexuality is still legal in Russia, 10 years before the United States. You and your chemobrain dictator have something in common -- you are both painfully dumb. Schadenfreude!

Rather, by simply quickly posting search results to commonly known, if tempered, opposition to abortion and homosexuality was because I presumed that you would know of this, though "In April 1993, the first part of Article 121, which criminalized consensual homosexual acts between adult males was repealed. The revised article now resembles the second part of the old article establishing a maximum sentence of five years for sodomy committed by force or with a minor." (https://www.uscis.gov/archive/resource-information-center-russia-0)

And I thank you for pointing the status of Russia's Article 121 law out, for contrary to your irrational conclusion that I am some sort of disciple of Putin, I have engaged in extensive debates with certain posters who vehemently support him, and who argue that Russia does not oppress conservative evangelicals - despite such evidence I provided as here, and even assert that Russia is infinitely more Christian nation that we are as a whole, while I posted, that polls of Russian find most are nominally orthodox, and only marginally more opposed (48 percent) than the non-Orthodox/nonbelievers (46 percent).

Yet, like their hero, such dedicated Putin supporters conclude that to oppose him at all means you are one the side of the prohomo Left, which is the same kind of false dilemma reasoning you engage in by concluding I am a Putin disciple.

And as for the Chin-lee... The CCP officially decriminalized homos in 1997

Support for which I nowhere even inferred - and certainly do not.

As I have often stated,

God made man and women distinctively different yet uniquely compatible and complementary, and only joined them together in marriage - as the Lord Jesus Himself specified (Mt. 19:4–6) and who condemned all fornication (Mark 7:21–23) - and Scripture only condemns homosexual relations wherever they are manifestly dealt with (see linked page).

And homosexual relations have been tragically primarily responsible for approx. 80% of new HIV cases among men and over 700,000 American deaths, though such is not even the decisive reason why homosexual relations are wrong.

Yet there is still room at the cross for all who will come to God in repentance and faith, and trust in the Divine Son of God sent by the Father, the risen Lord Jesus, to save them on His account, by His sinless shed blood, and thus be baptized and live for Him. Acts 10:36-47

…that does not sound like an easy “add on.”

And bear in mind that FR is (or at least used to be) crafted in Perl. There are no “easy ‘add ons.’”

I’ve sent two notes to the guy to find a Civil War forum for posting his stuff. It has no business being posted on freerepublic.com. I don’t know why he keeps posting war stuff from 200 years ago on a current news platform. I mean it’s every freaking day with this guy and his 2 to 3 replies it or he receives. I don’t get it

It's not extreme to ask for a block feature of some kind, donations permitting.

Would this work like TSA's (slip a $20 to the maître d') program?

I tend to lean in favor of Ukraine, because they were attacked. I don’t understand why some want Russia to win.

That's my viewpoint as well.

I, too, lean in favor of Ukraine

1) because they were attacked;

2) because Putin has annexed vast swathes of Ukrainian territory, in abrogation of all international norms and standard of decency;

3) because Putin has firebombed purely civilian targets;

4) because Putin has now even gone so far as to deny the existence of Ukraine as a sovereign state / the Ukrainian people as a separate people;

5) because Putin's Russia has nuclear weapons aimed at America's heartland (while Ukraine has always been friendly towards the United States).

In contrast, I see absolutely no reason to support Putin - not a single argument in favor of hoping that Putin will win.

What patriotic American would not rest easier at night knowing that, e.g., Putin had been assassinated by his own people, Russia had broken apart into five or six separate countries, most of which would then request to be de-nuclearized (though, considering Ukraine's tragic example, that might no longer be the case)?

Only a truly vile person rubs his hands in glee when thinking about a Putin victory on the battlefield.

Regards,

Not everyone who hates Ukraine is a Putin lover, nor is everyone who opposes Russia a Zelenskyy or Biden supporter.

And not everyone who opposes vast amounts of our unaudited tax dollars going to Zelensky and Co. hates Ukraine. Most of us just have a healthy lack of trust for the Bidens, Harris, Obama, et al and Zelensky.

I have an even greater distrust - and disgust - of Putin. Even if I believed that Zelensky was a rogue - I'd still back him against Putin, just as the United States gritted its teeth and backed Stalin against Hitler.

A personal "what if?" question - purely hypothetical:

Which would please you more?

Option A: Putin's forces completely withdraw from Ukraine; all stolen lands are returned to Ukraine. (This may or may not be predicated upon Putin's being deposed / assassinated by his own people.)

Option B: The country with thousands of nuclear weapons targeting America's heartland emerges as the winner - which would undoubtedly embolden it to continue targeting peaceful neighbors for conquest.

Putin has called the (peaceful) dissolution of the Soviet Union the "greatest catastrophe of the 20th century." He has as much as declared that he intends to reconstitute it.

The Soviet Union was the preeminent military and ideological enemy of the United States for much of the 20th century; why would any sane American patriot stand in support of that?

Remember: The word LIVE has, as anagrams, VILE and EVIL. Coincidence??? I think not.

Also VEIL, as in: to conceal with the intent to deceive.

Lazamataz, you are a true scholar and a poet - as well as a horndog and a humorist.
