Remember the Sixties? Our Democratic friends gave us guns and butter: a war in Vietnam to stop a domino falling in the Cold War and LBJ’s Great Society eye-watering spending on welfare, Medicare, and Medicaid. In 1968 Americans had had enough and elected Richard Nixon as president. Nixon and Kissinger created an opening to China and ended the Vietnam war.
Remember the Seventies? After deep-sixing Richard Nixon, our Democratic friends gave us stagflation in the late 1970s: in other words, a stagnant economy plus eye-watering inflation. In 1980 Americans had had enough and elected Ronald Reagan as president. Reagan killed inflation with eye-watering interest rates, lowered marginal tax rates, and ignited a decade of eye-watering economic growth.
How about those 2020s? Our Democratic friends under the leadership of sharp-as-a-tack President Biden declared war on COVID and on climate with eye-watering spending, and now the economy is mired in stagflation again. In 2024 Americans have had enough and elected….

But how do we understand all this? Why do our Democratic friends keep wrecking the economy?
It all comes down to the binary of gifting your supporters and going to war against the enemy. So every Democratic administration decides to throw more money at free health care and maybe start a war.
It’s odd how often our Democratic friends start a war right after a presidential election: Woodrow Wilson in 1917, FDR in 1941, Harry Truman in 1950. And LBJ waited until 1965 to really crank up the Vietnam war.

No, it’s because THEY TRICKED US back then by claiming to be the “Peace Party” (something they still claim, even considering their track record).
Back in 1993 or so, Rush pointed out something that was very astute. One Democrat leader said to another, during a fly-over, something like “Yuck, I hate those Weapons of War” - the other replied “You don’t understand, those are OUR WEAPONS now”.
The above didn’t make much sense to me at the time, but once they go hold of the weapons, they, the DEMOCRATS, felt empowered to go attacking whoever they felt attacking, as we saw a few years later in the former Yugoslavia when they sided with the Muslims, whenever they could, and are now using them in the Ukraine War to attack the same Russians that they openly supported during the Cold War.
However, as we’re seeing in Ukraine, the Democrats neglected the OTHER ASPECT of bombing White, conservative, people, which was that the world wasn’t static, and the US government never considered that their huge conventional advantage of 31 years ago might be challenged, as other countries were developing their own capabilities to fight us, and so we continued to think we could sit on our lead. Whoops!
Because they are fundamentally anti business. Democraacy is for allowing the “little man” control. The “little man” despises his betters, the Man.

It's simple to me. Dems want control. The economy does well when individuals exercise their enlightened self-interest to make their own lives better. Dems believe they are the voice of that enlightened self-interest, especially when it goes against the "self" part of the phrase.
It's the old communist trap - serve the state, so that we (the Dems in power) can reap the benefits and extend our own power. The economy doesn't bloom under such constraints.
The result of their corruption leads to a bad economy. Which is more like a criminal operation than represent government.
When they spend trillions of dollars of OPM ..billions get siphoned / laundered.
And suddenly a hunble government servant owns multiple mansions..private jets with multimillions in the bank.
The biden family are just one of many examples. BTW they couldn’t get away with it. if the system wasn’t as dirty as Hilary’s used underpants.

Easy. They wreak the economy as part of their plan to destroy America. Its one of the few things about America the Democrats have not succeeded in wreaking yet.
