TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A second disturbance has popped up in the Atlantic as Florida braces for Tropical Storm Debby.
The disturbance has a 10% chance of development over the next 48 hours and a 20% chance within the next seven days.
The National Hurricane Center said the tropical wave is several hundred miles east of the Windward Islands and is moving quickly westward at around 20 mph.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Debby is currently westward of Florida and is expected to strengthen into a Category 1 hurricane as it approaches the Big Bend.
Officials said the system is expected to make landfall early Monday.

A disturbance.
And a Tropical Storm.
We’re all gonna die.

Sprinkling close to Oldsmar in Tampa. Nice cloud movement but planes are taking off at TPA.
Our area is right in the middle of the cone. Here we go again! We just finished getting everything back to normal on our acreage after last years hurricane. Oh well, it is what it is.
Good luck. Keep your head down.
Claim the Promises of protection in Psalm 91 on you and your property.
Is that the most “recorded” during single day? What shall we do?
I remember hurricane Debbie in Florida in 1964 when I was 8. I don’t think they did categories back then.
Of course the climate change cult and media will blame man caused climate change for these storms, despite that such storms have been in the Atlantic for millennia.
Correct. That is the reason north America was the last continent to establish colonies and kingdoms. Between hurricanes, earthquakes, wild fires, tornadoes etc, humans were late to call this continent home.
Thank you, we will!
Thank you...we have prayed and feel we will be safe.
