Former President Donald J. Trump suggested without evidence on Saturday that Georgia’s Republican governor was hampering his efforts to win the battleground state in November, a claim that carried echoes of Mr. Trump’s attempt to overturn his defeat to President Biden there in 2020.
“In my opinion, they want us to lose,” Mr. Trump said, accusing the state’s governor, Brian Kemp, and its secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, who is also a Republican, of being disloyal and trying to make life difficult for him.
At a rally at the Georgia State University Convocation Center in Atlanta, in a speech that lasted more than 90 minutes and that was peppered with grievances about his loss four years ago, Mr. Trump falsely claimed, “I won this state twice,” referring to the 2016 and 2020 elections.
Mr. Trump lost to Mr. Biden by roughly 12,000 votes in Georgia in 2020. Last year, the former president was indicted by an Atlanta grand jury on charges related to his efforts to subvert the results of that election in that state. On Saturday, he complained that he might not have ended up in legal jeopardy if Mr. Kemp and Mr. Raffensperger had cooperated with his attempts to reverse the 2020 results.
Mr. Trump added that he thought Georgia had slipped under Mr. Kemp’s leadership. “The state has gone to hell,” he said.
Representatives for Mr. Kemp, who indicated in June that he had not voted for Mr. Trump in the Republican primary this year, and Mr. Raffensperger did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

there. fixed it.
Former President Donald J. Trump suggested without evidence
In other words, NY Times fabulist Neil Vigdor is lying about President Trump.
Kemp was in on the election steal in 2020. That much was obvious. He got away with it and will do it again.
President Trump is 100% right. Kemp and Raffensperger are vermin scum.
Each has personally benefited from exactly the same kind of organized election fraud that stole Georgia for Biden in 2020.
May each receive his just reward, in the here and now and for all eternity.
And may their efforts to effect the same fraud against President Trump in 2024 fail spectacularly.
“No matter how much you think you hate Kemp and Raffensperger, you don’t hate them enough.”
The New York Times being critical of Trump critizing a Republican governor is all we need to know about how right Trump is.
Classic line!
“Last year, the former president was indicted by an Atlanta grand jury on charges related to his efforts to subvert the results of that election in that state.”
No bias there, nope, none at all.
Its all true. Kemp could barely conceal his contempt for Trump when interviewed at the convention. He and Ratberger are criminals and traitors.
Trump is right, of course, but GA voters re-elected both in 2022 so what’s the point bringing this up...the problem is GA voters.
Big shocker!!!; Repeat of 2020 Georgia election. Who coulda thought that history would repeat.?!?!?
When is the last time NYT said, “Biden said, without evidence....”.
Number of ineligible voters?
Unknown.
Number of ballots with no verifiable chain of custody?
Unknown.
Notice how everything Trump says is reported as false when we know exactly the opposite is true these people never learn!
Number of missing ballots? 20,713 included in the count but not provided for audit, per AP news.
Number of double counted ballots in Fulton County alone? 3,000 per the Atlantic Journal Constitution.
Interesting, Kamilla Harris also accused Georgia of voter suppression when Kemp won the last election. But I don’t recall the New York Times saying she said it “without evidence. “
What a clown show. Trump should be kissing Kemp’s butt. How many points did Kemp beat Trump-endorsed Perdue by again? 50? Kemp knows a lot more about winning elections than Trump does.
Its no secret Kemp and Ratburger are RINO scum who participated in the Steal in 2020. Georgia got rid of the assistant Governor who was likewise utter scum but the voters didn’t inform themselves and made the awful choice to re-elect these two last time. We really need to focus on ending both of their careers next time.
Perdue was the only other choice available. And let’s get real for a moment here, the Perdue family doesn’t exactly have clean hands. Kemp is utter scum and the Georgia voters need to educate themselves next time instead of simply pulling the lever for him because he’s got an “R” next to his name like they did last time.
Same goes for Ratburger.
