In 2018, slaughterhouses, factory farms, and smaller farms killed around 2.27 million sheep in the US alone. Most of these sheep were young lambs who went to their premature deaths so we could eat their meat.

Not messing with that, with all due respect. Those animals were slaughtered in the name of a false god.

I never miss ordering rack of lamb with mint jelly when available on menu. It is my favorite meat.

I was walking down the street with my Kiwi buddy and we saw an old bag in leather pants and a midriff top and he said “Meh, mutton dressed as lamb”.

When I was very little, I had a stuffed tiger. To this day I have never eaten tiger meat. I love lamb, though.

If you think lamb is hard to find, try finding some mutton for sale. The Middle Eastern butcher shop up the street has lamb and goat meat. You can probably get mutton down in Anaheim, where there are a lot of Middle Easterners. There's a supermarket at Brookhurst & Katella where you can even get camel meat.

My wife always enjoyed lamb. I’d much rather have moose.

Cloven hoof, chews the cud. It’s clean. Lamb is good but I prefer goat, or a strong gamey mutton.

Mary had a little lamb,
A little pork, a little jam,
A little egg, a little toast,
Some wieners and a great big roast,
An ice cream soda topped with fizz,
And look how sick our Mary is!

My mother cooked a great leg of lamb. She would insert cloves of garlic into the meat before cooking. I have yet to see this on a restaurant menu, which is a great shame.
I had venison at one restaurant, The Game Keeper. More common, though not common enough for me, is a good pot roast.
Lamb chop reminds me of Shari Lewis.

Lambs produce wool, which is also a cash crop. Goat cleans up weeds and undergrowth, both have other benefits... which leaves us beef. Hmmm...
