Explanation: Have you seen a panorama from another world lately? Assembled from high-resolution scans of the original film frames, this one sweeps across the magnificent desolation of the Apollo 11 landing site on the Moon's Sea of Tranquility. The images were taken 55 years ago by Neil Armstrong looking out his window on the Eagle Lunar Module shortly after the July 20, 1969 landing. The frame at the far left (AS11-37-5449) is the first picture taken by a person on another world. Thruster nozzles can be seen in the foreground on the left (toward the south), while at the right (west), the shadow of the Eagle is visible. For scale, the large, shallow crater on the right has a diameter of about 12 meters. Frames taken from the Lunar Module windows about an hour and a half after landing, before walking on the lunar surface, were intended to document the landing site in case an early departure was necessary.
For more detail go to the link and click on the image for a high definition image. You can then move the magnifying glass cursor then click to zoom in and click again to zoom out. When zoomed in you can scan by moving the side bars on the bottom and right side of the image.
“Look Usul! worm sign!”
Cool.
The shadow on the right looks like Joy Behar.
I knew she was an alien.
Who left their wine glass in the shot?
That's nonsense.

"5449" sure seemed familiar. It kind of bugged me because this is here is *the first picture taken by a person on another world* (seems important), so what was the 5449 cobweb in my mind?
Ah here it is! So, regardless of the veracity of measurement claims, kooky theories, you know the usual thing that...
people make stuff up and massage data to fit their "truths", how convenient...
This photo's name ID (mission 11, magazine 37, photo 5449) is just not the kind of data point that sits around on every street corner to be used and abused.
But it could come in handy one day for the view... from "the first picture taken by a person on another world"...

"The average height of land above sea level for the earth is 5449 inches. This is also the height of the pyramid."

(This stuff all rolls together with the stars on Orion's belt, so many odd books, something for everyone out there.)
Nice touch with the lambda and the Holy Grail/challis, eh?
It's not just that. Pyramid wonks know where this is going, to Isa 19:19-20, to Adam Rutherford's work. Measurement data accurate or not, it's simply what's out there (the verses do add up to 5449 regardless):
>>>
There is another strong indication that Isaiah 19 speaks of the Great Pyramid. Adam Rutherford understood the Great Pyramid’s geometric design and dimensions, and O. de Blaere recognized a scriptural connection. Rutherford published their collaborative theory in 1957. They had realized that the Great Pyramid, from its base to the platform where the Capstone would rest, was 5,448.736 Polar inches in height, while the numeric value for the 30 original Hebrew words that comprise Isaiah 19:19-20 summed to 5,449.
The numeric value for these verses was the same number that had been calculated for the Great Pyramid’s height! The Bible then identifies the Great Pyramid as the subject of Isaiah 19:19-20 by denoting not only the Pyramid’s unique geographical location, but as well its precise height, and that, significantly, in Polar inches—1/500,000,000 of Earth’s polar diameter, the unit of measure with which it was built, (See again the drawing: “Height of Great Pyramid in Polar Inches —Same as Numeric Value of Isaiah 19:19-20.”). Of note is that Petrie’s NE and SW corner elevation measurements were short of the theoretical height by 1.43 - 2.73 British inches with a ± 7.0 inch error margin, and that the theoretical height of the Great Pyramid, from its base to the top of the 203rd course, is well within Petrie’s error margin.
The word “sign” in Isaiah 19:20 is Strong’s word number 226, which can mean “signal,” or as in the Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon of the Old Testament the meaning is “a sign of something past, which serves to keep it in memory, hence a memorial monument, a sign of something future, prophetic sign, or [token of the truth of a prophecy].” Words can hold one or more meanings. The author understands the word “sign” in this verse to hold all of its defined meanings. If one takes all meanings for “sign,” Isaiah’s intended meaning would be a memory monument of past and future prophecy.

(I just pulled those pages up to provide references to what I'm yapping about.)
Great timing:
Isaiah 19
19. In that day there shall be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at its border to the Lord:
20. And it shall be for a sign and for a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they shall cry to the Lord because of the oppressors, and he shall send them one who shall save them and plead for them, and he shall save them:
Make Apollo Great Again!
"the theoretical height of the Great Pyramid, from its base to the top of the 203rd course..."
An additional bit of info is that 203 is the sum of the first three letters of the Torah [ברא], which repeat as the second word:
בראשית ברא
(In the beginning + the verb "created")
Those Apollo men and what they could read... top shelf. Like they had a sixth sense, or something.
Holy Grail?
The open area of the bottom of the Λ, perhaps?
No vision. "It's just these three stars" yada yada..
I mean really, the stuff that just sits there:
>>>
Though some controversy exists as to whether the Grail was a cup or a platter, it is generally depicted in art as a chalice of considerable size and unusual beauty...
>>>
The Holy Cup can be discovered only by those who have raised themselves above the limitations of sensuous existence. In his mystic poem, The Vision of Sir Launfal, James Russell Lowell discloses the true nature of the Holy Grail by showing that it is visible only to a certain state of spiritual consciousness.
Only upon returning from the vain pursuit of haughty ambition did the aged and broken knight see in the transformed leper's cup the glowing chalice of his lifelong dream. Some writers trace a similarity between the Grail legend and the stories of the martyred Sun Gods whose blood, descending from heaven into the earth, was caught in the cup of matter and liberated therefrom by the initiatory rites.
The Holy Grail may also be the seed pod so frequently employed in the ancient Mysteries as an emblem of germination and resurrection; and if the cuplike shape of the Grail be derived from the flower, it signifies the regeneration and spiritualization of the generative forces in man.

Mine is copy 439 of 800. And yours? 😉
I suppose a... schooner produced in cobalt blue would effectively camouflage the thing -- nothing to sea there, just a vintage water glass.
Nice! Magnificent desolation, as Buzz called it.
I have one of those- with the first day issue stamped envelope. The glue on the stamp dried up and the stamp fell off, now I just keep the stamp inside the envelope.
Beautiful. I love that color!
This is how. These mirrors shine light right back to any source. Astronomer's have been shining laser light on this for years. Those mirrors were put there by the crew of Apollo 11.
BS. You don’t think we can bounce signals off the moon and calculate its relative distance without an alleged mirror? Why fake all the pictures and videos with all subsequent missions only going less than 350 miles if we really did land on the moon (238,000 miles away)
See how EZ? Baby Steps -- Bob was totally sold on the idea. It saved his life!
It's the Good News "Challenge".
Winning!
Yet... few find the way -- can't even locate a silver lining to save their lives. Bad for business, I suppose. Fear sells. If it bleeds it leads.
I’m plumb confused.
Yes, I see three stars in three groupings, a horizontal, a vertical, and a equilateral. I could see that as the crossbar of a cross, the upright of the Cross, and the Trinity spirit rising above the Cross.
But the Grail itself remains elusive.
