Explain WhyWe Are We Even Adversaries With Russia?
Self | 07/19/2024 | Self

Posted on 07/19/2024 5:37:32 PM PDT by ExpatCanuck

Russia supports our adversaries because we still treat Russia as our adversary. A change in policy could change the global world order overnight. China and Islamists are our true enemies.

The biggest blunder the U.S. has made in foreign policy matters over the last 35 years is that we have effectively turned Russia from a European nation into an Asian one.

Yeah, the U.S. is so insidious and powerful, we go around changing the ethnic make-up, political DNA, and geopolitical goals of other nuclear powers all the time!

We're just that OP ("overpowered")!

Dr. Zhivago. Alec Guinness was the UNRELIABLE narrator.

The character played by Guinness was a higher-up in the Communist Party.

And my point is that if we started working with Russia, they would stop working with our enemies, and start working with us. We can easily make it in their best interest to work with us.

Nothing easier than that! All the Russians have to do is take the first step, and quickly exit Ukraine.

Oh, and maybe also pay $5 trillion in reparations, to boot!

(And maybe also Putin's head on a pike.)

Then we can talk!

LOL. says the country with 800 military bases around the world and its military alliance that wants to be right up on Russia's border.

Our bases are there at the invitation of those other countries.

Russia, in contrast, wages wars of territorial conquest.

Russians are losers and that makes them envy those who aren’t losers. They know they can’t stop being losers so they choose to continue supporting all the troublemakers in the world.

Russians have a thug mentality. If someone does something nice to them instead of punching them in the face a Russian will think it is because they are weak and tries to rob them.

We did have an incredible opportunity after the first Gulf War to reach out to Russia and offer a version of the Marshall Plan but we balked. Too many old Sovietologists wouldn’t think outside their box and stuck with the cold war mindset.
Then slick willy started spending the “Peace Dividend” by padding the government instead of finishing the job and turning an adversary into an ally.

America and other Western countries sent Russia a lot of aid. This kept them from starving. America granted them Most Favored Nation trading status and made them a member of the G7 to make them feel good.

All this made Russians hate Americans even more. Russians believe that someone does nice things to you only if they are weak and pathetic. They think someone strong punches them in their face and then they respect them.

They believe all that because that’s how they treat each other.

That is literally a hogwash. “Bush legs”, Ford and McDonald’s were there to make money in the first place.

Russia in in bed with Iran.

Iran is committing terrorism all over using puppet surrogates like Hamas, Hezbollah and The Houthi. Russia is deploying soldiers and aircraft in Syria in attempt to protect the Iranian military installations there. Syria and thus Iran depends on Russian air defense systems that are worthless against Israeli F 35’S. The world has learned after the deaths of mayn high ranking Iranian officers that the Russian systems are no good, ineffective.

The same Russian air defense systems were recently deployed in Yemen to protect the Houthi from air attack by the Us and UK navies defending the Red Sea. Russians technicians are thus currently manning air defense systems and directly supporting the Houthi air attacks on world shipping.

Russia has become in essence just another Iranian terrorist surrogate.

Russia is actively engaged in live fighting with the US Navy
and Freepers who continue to gullibly support Putin are terribly in the wrong

Once Hamas is destroyed and ground literally into the brown dirt by the masses of armored IDF D’9’s it will be over. Iran will have lost the Palestine terrorist surrogacy

“There’s no reason except that the MIC needs a good enemy to justify its existence and huge payroll.”

Bingo... Pure and simple fact. All the rest of the narratives are just propaganda and psyops manipulation through controlling emotions. And we are embracing it with ignorant open arms.

“Russia supports our adversaries because we still treat Russia as our adversary. “

Putin is our adversary because Putin chooses to be our adversary, period.

There’s an old saying that goes “Let’s you and him fight.” And when the US sends billions of dollars to Ukraine in support of NATO aggressions, what is Russia to think?

Russia got MFN (most favored nation) status in 1996. China didnt get that till 2001. In addition, and partly as a consequence, Russia got billions annually in private investment, plus technology, to build out its petroleum and other energy infrastructure.

It is this foreign investment that created its petroleum and gas export industries, which made it wealthy. Russia began to be a problem to its near neighbors only after it was swimming in (western created) export wealth.

“NATO aggressions”?

What “NATO aggressions” were going on in Feb 2022?

This line is Russian propaganda.

Thats a lot of CIA funded transexuals, no?

When you say Russia ..you mean some people in their government are military expantionist.
Not all Russians.
When you get away from Moscow into the more rural areas you find working families who just what to work and provide for their families.
Like most Americans.

Sorry, I've no time to pick out the all they many right thinking POV's on how the US and NATO prompted the war even before 2014 when Russia annexed Crimea, but pick from the many proofs listed here.

And ignore the US/NATO propaganda.
