The court found that regulating home alcohol stills is not one of the enumerated powers given to the government.

Sweet so we can finally make fuel ethanol for camping stoves and patio fireplaces/indoor fire features without a felony? Retail ethanol is $20+ a gallon for firepits and marshmallow toasters it’s crazy how expensive it is 100% due to govt revenuers and the taxes to have food grade ethanol that’s not loaded with toxic methanol so you can’t drink it. Yes the govt would rather poison you then let you even think about drinking fuel which would taste like roadkill anyways.
Well, my name’s John Lee Pettimore
Same as my daddy and his daddy before
You hardly ever saw grandaddy down here
He only came to town about twice a year
He’d buy a hundred pounds of yeast and some copper line
Everybody knew that he made moonshine
Now the revenue man wanted grandaddy bad
Headed up the holler with everything he had
Before my time, but I’ve been told
He never come back from Copperhead Road
Now daddy ran the whiskey in a big block Dodge
Bought it at an auction at the Mason’s Lodge
“Johnson County Sheriff” painted on the side
Just shot a coat of primer, then he looked inside
Well, him and my uncle tore that engine down
I still remember that rumblin’ sound
And then the Sheriff came around in the middle of the night
Heard mama crying, knew something wasn’t right
He was headed down to Knoxville with the weekly load
You could smell the whiskey burnin’ down Copperhead Road
Hey!
Hey! Hey!
I volunteered for the Army on my birthday
They drafted the white trash first, around here anyway
I done two tour’s of duty in Vietnam
I came home with a brand new plan
I take the seed from Colombia and Mexico
I just plant it up the holler down Copperhead Road
And now the D.E.A’s got a chopper in the air
I wake up screaming like I’m back over there
I learnt a thing or two from Charlie, don’t you know
You better stay away from Copperhead Road
Copperhead Road
Copperhead Road
Ha! Copperhead Road
Hey! This is good news!
Bkmk
Better. Chemistry
I consider learning to make fuel ethanol because I get tons of mesquite beans every year
have you consulted a dermatologist?
LOL
not personal bean
tree beans
Now that “Chevron” has been scuttled, any new rules and regulations enacted solely by a Regulatory Agency (unelected bureaucrats) can be summarily dismissed by the President, Chief Executive of the Bureaus and Agencies.
The Agencies serve at the please of the Executive (POTUS), not the Congress.
I have a glass still, originally purchased for lab work. Last batch of brandy I made was in 1976. Still have some. Very good and VERY potent.
Paging Tickle and Josh.
Ahh! Nice image of Popcorn Sutton and JD Raider.
Finally some good news.
big win against the administrative state. I’d like to read the decision.
...and Rocky Top.
Ignore my comment. You linked directly to the decision itself. Great job! Thanks much.
Lol it’s an end run around the spirit and letter of the Constitution. It shouldn’t have survived any scrutiny at all. Go excuse big government elsewhere.
And here I quit drinking years ago....
Maybe I should start again......
