EXCLUSIVE: Saddle up! One of the great westerns is getting a remake.
Sergio Leone and Clint Eastwood classic A Fistful Of Dollars is set for a movie remake from Euro Gang Entertainment, the company founded by Hollywood vet Gianni Nunnari (300) and Simon Horsman (Magazine Dreams), alongside Italian production vet Enzo Sisti (Ripley) of FPC, and Rome-based Jolly Film, which produced the original movie.
Hit western A Fistful of Dollars is the story of a wandering gunfighter with no name who plays two rival families against each other in a town torn apart by greed, pride, and revenge.

True, saw the samurai movie first. There’s a few westerns that have the same plot. I didn’t care, loved both samurai movies and spaghetti westerns.
“Could be good.
May be bad.
Probably ugly.....................”
Maybe they should considered doing it “For a Few Dollars More”
Still that would be a sin that was “Unforgiven”
seeing these remakes tend to suck regardless.
Bad enough that they felt they had to remake “The Magnificent Seven”.
Waiting for them to announce a remake of “The Wild Bunch”.
This is just sooooo wrong.... nothing would make it better.
Well, they’re doing it For a Few Dollars More.
What a STUPID idea!
Given the direction of contemporary Hollywood it will be titled, “The Good, The Bad, and the Fabulous.”
They should make it “X” rated and call it “A Fistful of Condoms”.
will it include black lesbian jedi’s impregnated by the force? Because they need to woke this up....
But hollywood could not find them with the Hubble and a map.
When they attempt to remake “Once Upon a Time in the West” you’ll know the end is near.
‘A Fistful Of Dollars’ starring Quantell Eastwood and Leroy Van Cleef.
now THAT is one movie that could never be remade! no actor in Hollywood could play the parts that Eli Wallach, Lee VanCleef and Clint Eastwood played in this iconic movie. not to mention the budget would be impossibly expensive to do justice to the original. some movies cannot be remade nor should they be. just my 2.
I know there are only a “few” basic story lines in Hollywood, but they really should try and write new versions. Simply re-making is lazy.
They’re just totally out of ideas of their own aren’t they?
“the wild bunch”! yeah...on electric scooters with solar cells. they only come out when the sun is shining. now wonder holly wood became hollyweird.

The remake of “The Magnificent Seven” was bad, really bad.
I am one of the few that saw it at the theater, and have watched it on TV. I love the Clint Eastwood/Lee Marvin version.
I don’t think ANYONE will redo a musical.
How many remakes of “A Star is Born”?.................
