Acting Labor Secretary Julie Su laughed off a question about President Biden’s Cabinet members invoking the 25th Amendment in an interview on Fox News following the latest jobs report Friday.
“Has there been any conversation among the Cabinet members about invoking the 25th Amendment?” Fox Business’s Edward Lawrence asked Su in an interview that aired on “America’s Newsroom.”
Su laughed at the question, then said, “That’s absurd.”
“I will say that what we are talking about is recognizing that we are in a moment where …there’s been incredible progress in the time that we’ve been here,” she added. “And we want to keep building on it … we cannot afford to go back, we cannot afford to reverse course.”
Friday’s Labor Department data showed the U.S. economy added 206,000 jobs in June and the unemployment rate rose slightly to 4.1 percent. Those numbers were largely in line with expectations, but they added to signs that the economy is cooling under high interest rates.
Su’s comments follow discussion around Biden’s fitness for the presidency and ability to beat former President Trump in November, spurred by his rough presidential debate performance last week.
Democrats were sent into a state of panic over his performance, while some Republicans have suggested Biden’s Cabinet should move to remove him from office by invoking the 25th Amendment.
While that almost certainly will not happen, the discussion among Republicans reflects questions about whether they would rather see Trump square off against Vice President Harris.

If just one person in Joe’s cabinet to resigns over Joe’s senility, and its over. Just one person from the cabinet, gets up and says he can no longer support a President who is not there. That person will lose some friends. But will be a hero to many.
Anyone remember when Trump was in office the democraps constantly brought up the 25th to get rid of him. Now they got a real case and they laugh at it.

The 25th Amendment is now shown to be fatally flawed. Those in the Cabinet who owe their position to the President are supposed to be the ones who kick him out of office?
He goes. They go.
Even if Biden was being kept alive on a ventilator, they could keep their positions by refusing to act.
The 25th Amendment assumes a Cabinet has an overriding allegiance to the nation. That is a foolish assumption.
If Trump wins they’ll try to use the 25th Amendment on him again and again and again

These clowns allow the words “25th amendment” to go in one ear and out the other. It is a valid part of The Constitution of the USA. It is supreme law of the land. It imposes a duty on various officials (who have all sworn an oath to “protect, defend and uphold” The Constitution). They can’t just laugh it off. They should be mandamused or otherwise compelled to do their job.
I was just listening to the radio and this pig heiress Abigail Disney who probably never worked a real job in her entire life, was moaning about Biden saying she is not donating a penny to democrats unless they get rid of Biden because “the consequences of him losing is too severe”
What? Excuse me?? Too severe? Just what consequences would that be? A secure border? Low inflation? No wars? Iran put on ice?
These people get me absolutely sick, she is an utter pig who cares more about status and power than REAL consequences! They are domestic enemies of the USA as far as I’m concerned.

Isn’t it ironic that not even four years ago these same clowns were adamant that the 25th Amendment be invoked?
Joe could make it very difficult if he refuses to resign. It would take the following steps.
- The Vice President and a majority of Cabinet members transmit to the Senate and House their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.
- The Vice President immediately becomes the Acting President.
- The President transmits to the Senate and House his written declaration that no inability exists.
- The President resumes his office unless the Vice President and a majority of Cabinet members within four days transmit to the Senate and House their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.
- Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours if not in session.
- If Congress within twenty-one days determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to be the Acting President.
- If Congress does not determine by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the President resumes his office.
Things could get a bit nasty between Joe and Kamala.
