In China Space Pioneer was performing a static fire test of the Booster for their Tianlong 3 rocket, a design which is a close copy of SpaceX's Falcon 9. Due to an engineering failure the rocket broke free of the test stand, flew under power for about 30 seconds before crashing back to Earth in a spectacular fireball.

Multiple failures, and then quite the fireball at the end.
Chinee LOX and Methane control...no smoking PREASE!
Static tests are normally horizontal, no? Sum ting Wong here.
She blowed up real good.
“made in china” sounds right.
once again, the great kopycat of the world proved the wrld’s point!
Ok, who head we gonna chop now?
“Face wall please, Comrade.”
Right? Someone better get out of town fast. Out of country, actually.
SpaceX does do test firings of a full rocket stack. However, the hold down clamps are sufficient to keep the rocket in place.

It’s better to burn out than to fade away.

PLENTY of their engineers are sent to US universities.
Solid rocket motors are tested horizontal. Boosters with liquid fuel and oxydizer need to be vertical to keep the liquid from the tanks flowing properly.
Forgot to bolt it down ? Hate to be that guy ,LOL

Many also work in our industrial research labs where they learn our methods and latest discoveries.
Not as easy as it look eh, Xi-Jing-Ping?
Typical result of Chi-Com culture of cutting corners. Probably used ratchet straps to tie it down.

And PLENTY of China-born people working in corporate America, including very sensitive positions (yes, many are citizens now, but does anyone think that affects their loyalties?).
