President Biden likely suffers from a “cognitive disease” and should not only drop out of the presidential race but resign immediately, according to the former White House physician and current Republican Congressman who served former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
“This is a national security issue,” Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson told The Post after Biden’s disastrous debate performance. “As an American, I think he needs to step down and he needs to be immediately removed from office.”
Before entering politics, Jackson served as Obama’s personal physician between 2013 and 2016.
He served as Trump’s between 2016 and 2018.
Trump raised Jackson’s name during the Thursday debate, when the issue of their respective cognitive functions was raised.
Jackson, a former Navy rear admiral, said Biden’s confused and halting performance during the debate was clear evidence he is suffering from more than just normal aging.
“There is a condition. I don’t know what it is. I am not going to give him a diagnosis. It is more than just age. It is some type of cognitive disease,” Jackson said. “I don’t know if it’s Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s, I don’t know what it is. There are a lot of diseases out there when folks get older which can cause cognitive decline.”
Jackson previously called on Biden to take a cognitive test — something Biden has not done as president.
“You aren’t going to hear me talk about cognitive tests anymore. He got one [Thursday] night in front of millions of viewers and he failed miserably,” Jackson told The Post.

If the situation was reversed, Republicans would have already gone to the White House and had the “Nixon Moment” telling him he had to go for the good of the party and Nation.
Whether Biden stays or goes in the political sense is not important to me, what I’m worried about is having a truly mentally diminished person as CIC, is a huge issue, when two major wars are already going on with the US involved and a potential 3rd war over Taiwan could happen at any time.
Sure, but President Harris would be a national security issue as well. Both are puppets anyway.

This is not the time for people to jump on board to see him leave now . . . .they most likely have their replacement ready to go and will pull out all the stops to fire up the Dems and also the illegals to vote.
I think RFK JR had the inside scoop on Biden’s incompetence and knew his was coming. He can save the Democrats now and go down in history as the Kennedy savior.

I was surprised to see that Congressman Jackson included Parkinsons as perhaps a cause of Biden’s problem but smart man that he is said he wouldn’t diagnose Biden. I had someone tell me a few weeks ago that they thought it was Parkinsons and that surprised me. I always associated what little I know about it to having uncontrollable shaking. Maybe not.
If you have ever seen someone with Parkinsons... you have seen someone with Parkinsons.
What the means is it is different for everyone. Yes, many have the shake you spoke of, but it is different for everyone, and for many cognitive decline is an issue.

There are a lot of things that can lead to Biden's current condition. He had a bleeding aneurysm at the base of his brain repaired in 1988, and then another aneurysm treated surgically later that year. That doesn't mean anyone post-aneurysm repair or intra-cerebral hemorrhage is going to develop gait or cognition abnormalities, but just like Muhammad Ali developed a Parkinson's like movement disorder after absorbing the blows he did in boxing, every brain injury carries the possibility of encephalomalacia, gliosis, and other changes that could affect some aspects of brain function.
I don't think he has classic Alzheimer's, but whatever it is he is no longer medically qualified to be in public office.

Very good post...thank you. I forgot about Ali’s condition and I remember Biden’s problems that required surgery years ago. What you say makes sense...and I certainly agree with your closing sentence..

I don’t think that’s been as clear as it is right now. Seeing Biden with Jill at the close of the debate was painful. She is clueless or thinks she’s putting on a good show praising him the way she did - “you answered every question” - like he was a first grader. She was showing the world she knows the problem but is not about to confront it.
Probably even worse. It’s obvious that Biden is not really running this nation. I think Obama is the puppet master. Which shows that this administration is not working to benefit this nation at all.
Dr. Jackson is of course correct. Biden is now and has been incapable of serving as President because his physical and mental condition make him a threat to national security.
This has been the case since before Biden became President.
Were it clear that replacing Biden with Harris would diminish the threat posed by mental incapacity, I would demand that Congress summon whoever passes as the current “White House physicians” for public testimony (including the question of Joe’s performance all around the 24 hour day, not for the 25% sweet spot). They could blatantly lie, weasel (”Biden’s as sharp as most elderly people ...with dementia), or God forebid, tell the truth, forcing the Dems to replace him with Harris. Ugh.
