It reports that the commander of the Osan Air Force base in South Korea has authorized troops on the base to wear a “pride morale patch” on their military uniforms, in public and while on duty.

When I was stationed at Osan AB (89-91), the base commander sent a warning to people wearing “Black to the Future” and “Black Power” type shirts. He said if the colors were reversed, it would be considered racist. Anyone caught wearing them on base would be subject to discipline. My how times have changed.
