Folks here will almost certainly remember the brutal attack in Mumbai in 2008, a tactic that the global Jihad has used repeatedly since, albeit on smaller scale. Plenty of serious people are aware that the US is presently at an unprecedented risk of a similar assault here.

With Biden's wide open border, and millions of unvetted military age men from all over the world it would only take a tiny fraction of our recent "immigrants" to cause massive chaos and death. Put yourself in Iran's shoes: why wouldn't you take advantage of this opportunity to strike at the heart of the "Great Satan"? Failure to do so might even be considered negligence.

Wray has been sounding the alarm about the wide-open Southern border for years.

This is getting like an old Tokyo Rose broadcast...

Yeah, like others I have a big problem swallowing that line about Wray sounding the alarm about the southern border for years. Every time I see hi in front of Congress testifying, he is evasive and will not answer questions forthrightly.

Don’t worry, whatever bad thing happens; it will be blamed on Trump and Republicans. Democrats and their weaponized federal agencies that can’t protect American interest just blame Trump and Republicans when they fail.

The Southern border needs attention, more important, a solution that addresses a security problem our nation faces, while not inconveniencing and restricting the massive amount of legal crossings and trade which occur every day there.

Average law abiding people and trade should not be unreasonably impacted by our security measures.

What we have today is very weird:

—You have drugs, human trafficking, foreign nationals from what should be considered high treat locations (the Middle East, China...), all coming across the border... You have people with diseases like TB crossing the border (I mentioned this years ago and folks here denied it)... It’s a simple fact, TB is more common in Central and South America: https://www.who.int/teams/global-tuberculosis-programme/tb-reports/global-tuberculosis-report-2022/tb-disease-burden/2-1-tb-incidence

—But at the same time, some law abiding family trying to cross the border on a bus takes 3 hours to cross. They are made to stand in the sun, can’t use a bathroom until they cross, have to unload all their luggage, get folks digging through their belongings, answer questions by the passport control, run their personal items through an X-ray machine, get the dog sniff, and watch an army of various border personnel, all with big patches, act very important... Nuts.

***When people have no control, they tend to focus on whatever small area they have control over.

That border needs to get fixed, but the solution isn’t to hassle average and law abiding folks or to interfere with commerce.

We need to put someone in charge that actually can think. Someone that can figure out processes and systems that address the security needs without punishing folks for what are legal border crossings. It can be done. But it requires someone that isn’t just a dumb bureaucrat or political hack who’s only qualification is a Hispanic name, Alejandro Mayorkas: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alejandro_Mayorkas

This is a task for someone that has experience in plans and operations, an S3/G3 type. Someone with a tactical background, yes like in the military. Someone that is analytical, yet creative. What we’re doing now is stupid. You have a crazy border where some guy crawls into Maria’s @ss, looking to see if she’s bringing an avocado across the border illegally, while 20 miles to the West or East you have drones buzzing across that border with kilo’s of cocaine on board. You have Coyote’s bringing small groups across that border, walking right into the US. You have tunnels in some places, which occasionally once discovered make the news: https://www.cnn.com/2022/05/17/us/california-border-tunnel-cocaine-arrests-intl/index.html where they move tons of drugs through, while they dig through some vets personal medical bag asking about every individually wrapped medication.

You need someone with an IQ above 70 put in charge of this clown show.
