I want to

ask the question why doesn't Ukraine

just produced the whole King Kaboodle of

Russian ruble counterfeit and injected

into the Russian economy and what would

be the effect I'm not suggesting it I'm

not recommending it it's a thought

experiment from a monetary historian

...it might make the world a better place

just a thought experiment

"By the end of the Civil War, nearly one-third of all currency in circulation was counterfeit. As a result, the country's financial stability was in jeopardy. To address this concern, the Secret Service was established in 1865 as a bureau in the Treasury Department to suppress widespread counterfeiting."

"...So he produced a bigger batch of bogus bills and advertised them nationally in leading publications such as Harper’s Weekly. He dutifully printed “Facsimile Confederate Note — Sold wholesale and retail by S.C. Upham 403 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia” on the bottom of each copy.

Again, they sold like the proverbial hotcakes."

Our government — with enough plausible deniability — should be mass counterfeiting Chinese yuan. Flood their country so their currency is totally worthless.

When I was in Russia in 195, funny money was a problem even back then.

The North Koreans have been printing U.S. currency for decades. The newer anti-counterfeiting seems to have addressed the problem. Any nation state has the capability to do this so Ukraine’s counterfeiting of the Russian ruble will be answered in kind.

The US government is printing billions of counterfeit US dollars.

The interesting and operative question here is does the security level of the Russian Rouble lend itself to easy counterfeiting? Is it anywhere near the current US level for our currency?

How about the United States destabalize the EU by cutting off cheap energy throwing them into a near depression; then sanctioning the NATO Bloc into isolation on Brics nation at a time....

Biden is printing 1T a month now. How could you have missed that? For the first three years he printed 1T every 3-months and you missed that too.

The DNC are the enemy of mankind.

Economies are exponentially larger now, and paper currency is a rather insignificant part of most. This wouldn’t do much anymore.

Depression = An economic depression is a steep and sustained drop in economic activity featuring high unemployment and negative GDP growth.

Reality:

ST. PETERSBURG, June 5. /TASS/. The growth rate of the Russian economy stood at 5.4% in the first quarter of this year, President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with heads of international news agencies organized by TASS.

"In the first quarter of this year, Russian economic growth totaled 5.4%," the head of state said.

Russia will invest resources in its technological independence, the President noted.

"Niches taken by our producers and further steps to develop niches left by Western producers, and growth on that basis nevertheless have certain constraints," Putin said.

"We understand this and the technological independence is one of main goals among our development goals, strategic targets we set for ourselves," he added.

The newer anti-counterfeiting seems to have addressed the problem.

At some cost to Americans. If you own any of the older $100 bills you may find banks or currency exchange outlets unwilling to accept them.

“When I was in Russia in 195”

It sucked, but I was on the Eastern Front, forced to defend against the Barbarians back then. Luckily our hardware held up.
