Think you have COVID? Good luck finding a test kit

HONOLULU (KHON2) — COVID numbers are up statewide according to the Department of Health (DOH). At least 1,180 new cases were diagnosed this week alone. But some people said finding a COVID test isn’t as easy as it used to be and neither is getting vaccinated.

“I woke up realizing that I’m having symptoms. And so luckily, we had a test that we got on Amazon. So I took the test and it was positive,” said Murti Hower.

He immediately went to the doctor to get medication.

A MAGIC 8 BALL is more accurate than any covid test. I’m serious. But insurance won’t take the word of a dice. There’s no pfizer money in it. They want a fair game of chance to determine if you have the mag8c covid..

Here's my latest interaction for a flu when I went to my doctor's office:

Nurse:"What insurance are you using?"
Me: "None. I'm self-pay today."
Nurse:"Okay, so we won't worry about doing a COVID test."

That told me all I needed to know about the tests. lol

What is the purpose of the Covid Test Kits? So, if you test positive, you go to the Doctor. So if you test negative but still have symptoms, you go to the Doctor. So why do you want to spend the money on the kit if you are going to the Doctor anyway? If it test negative, do you really want to believe it is a good test and blow off the Doctor?

I suspect I’ve had some form of Covid twice and didn’t test either time. The first one in 21 was a high fever (I’m hypothyroid and never get fevers higher than 100. This one went to 103.) with lung stuff and took the horse paste (“Seriously, y’all.”) and a home brew version of HCQ. Second time in 22 was different, so wasn’t sure if it was flu or Covid, so I started using oscillococcinum. Went through the whole package of that with no improvement, so switched to a prescription IVR I had been hoarding, which knocked it out immediately.
