Yeah let’s call him a scofflaw, fugitive and flight risk.

After he mops the floor with FJB at the debate (if there is one) he will be sure sentenced to prison.

That is a forgone conclusion anyway as he should have sold everything in the State of New York and got the Hell out of there back in 2016 when the shit hit the fan.. It will be an object lesson for him for sure.
I have assets that will continue to supply revenue for as long as I have them. But I can’t sell them for the equivalent of the long-term revenue they’re worth. That’s the problem with rental property. This is the problem anyone with rentals face whether in NY or anywhere. So, make five hundred million now, or two billion over the next twenty years...
If Trump is smart he would not go back to New York and tell them to stick it where the Sun doesn’t shine..But he is playing it as well as if they toss him in jail he will be a shoe in for the election...least that is the hope..or it could be they do not care how obvious the election fraud is and how much People protest as they will send the Federal Stormtroopers out which would be a terrible mistake on their part as many will not return home but they are just push buttons anyway so who cares.
It should be an object lesson for EVERYONE on our side...

Federal crime - FBI would be responsible for arresting him.
Some it does matter and for others well what is more important is who is on Dancing with the Stars and little Johnny’s soccer game or getting that new tattoo..
They can use extradition against him, and states that are friendly, think Colorado/Arizona/California, would accommodate them. Then he would have committed an actual criminal act, which would be an be unadvisable move.
There would be so much wrong with that approach that I don’t know where to begin.
This was tried in a state court, not a federal one, so how can it be a federal crime?
The broader question would be, should he avoid appearing at the sentencing hearing altogether?
One thing for sure, Trump is not a coward, and he relishes making his opponents looking dumb. And this case is dumb, and it brings out dumb commentary.
I fully expect, that the two bit judge Merchan will sentence Trump to several years in jail. Trump will of course, appeal this then, if not before the hearing itself.
But make no mistake of it, he wants the visual advertisement of these low life’s trying to send him to jail.
The troops are so worked up now, that I wouldn’t think it possible, to work them up any further, but they will rise up again, once Merchan tries to have him led off into custody.
They would issue a bench warrant. Then any LEO in any jurisdiction could arrest and detain him. He would have to stand for extradition, but that would be a foregone conclusion.
That’s how it would work on anyone else.
If they wanted to be real jerks, they could charge him with being a fugitive.
And…he would forfeit his bail.

That, my Fine Feathered Friend, is the crux of the matter.
Lots of ways The People’s Republic of New York can take stuff, and leave you with no nada.
So, in practice, its good to dump it all and just leave places like NYC to the Animals.
Don’t believe any of the talking heads, and their Sunk Cost Fever Dreams.
There’ll be no recovery of any kind for generations.
Then when the NY Dim judge sentences Trump (be it behind bars or house arrest or whatever) Trump should make the Dims own it. When Trump has to miss some of the debates and speeches, Trump should send the best PR person he could ever have, a dude named Vivek, in his place AND EVERY STATEMNET VIVEK MAKES at the debates should be proceeded by "Trump can't be here to say this because you Democrats jail your political opponents..." Make the Dims own their oppressive tactics. Every time the Dims say, "Big Oil" or "Big Corporation" Vivek and every Trump supporter should say that oil corporations don't jail their opponents like Democrats do.
