This is Howard’s (Howard Fineman) wife, Amy Nathan. I am heartbroken to share my brilliant and extraordinary husband passed away late last night surrounded by those he loved most, his family. He valiantly battled pancreatic cancer for 2 years. He couldn’t have been adored more. The world was a better place because he lived in it and wrote about it.
Two years with it is both a good fight and a horrific fight at the same time.
I will say a prayer for his family.
He use to be on Hardball, when it was watchable back in the Clinton years. Think you might remember him if you saw his pic.

Yep now that a pic has been posted. Vague memory at best though. Anyone similar today and I would be out of the loop completely since I no longer watch any of the MSM.
Must not have been too nasty because none of us know him well enough to celebrate.
I remember him, he was on a lot of talk shows about 30 years ago. I haven’t heard of him in years. I think he once wrote for Newsweek when it was a real magazine.
All I can think of is Dr Howard, Dr Fine, Dr Howard

Horowitz was the last name of the brothers Moe, Shemp, and Curly. For professional reasons they went by Howard.
