The race to determine who will be Donald Trump's running mate this November took a major step forward last week with the acceleration of vetting multiple potential candidates, but political insiders with deep knowledge of presidential campaigns say there is one possible name on the former president's shortlist Democrats "fear" the most.

I am fine with it if it helps bring down the Biden crime family.
Pro Ukraine neocon.
[[But Dr. Jill speaks Spanish. “Si, se puadre!”]]
So does heb bush “por favor aplauda”
My spidey senses tell me Rubio would be an easy target for the DEMs nationally.
~~~~~
Rubio comes with baggage which Dems will exploit. Fox News is counting on it.
Reverse psychology at play here. The MSM would love them some Rubio as VP. Frig’ the POS Rubio!!
Here - let me translate: "This is the name the Democrats WANT Trump to choose."
Hmm fox News try8ng to convince us that the left “fear rubio”? This tells me that the rino network knows the left do not really fear him, but want conserva4ives to think that they do, so that they will pressure Trump to pick him because they know that if Rubio were to ever take over the presidency during the next 4 years, hew wouldn’t be much better than Biden on the border and on other issues.
When rinos or liberals tell you that the left “fear something” you can be pretty sure they are trying to reverse psychology the masses for a very specific reason
Give it a rest. Without the Scotus weighing in, at this point, your interpretation is no more constitutional as anyone who says he is.
Please bro Fox, don’t throw me in the briar patch!
The VP guessing game only hurts Trump and potential picks. Focus on Biden.
All of these articles in the media about Trump’s VP picks are BS creations of the left and its supporters. They are all designed to weaken the ticket and to hamstring Trump into choosing another back-stabbing politico. Truth is, with the exception of Stefanik and Flynn—both of whom are anathema to the left—and who are not being gushed about by the Democrat party’s monopolized media machine, there’s no one else with any kind of “fire in the belly” to back up Trump with.
If GOP stratigists want him run away. All that matters is being a good attack dog for Trump.
Why don’t people get your point?
It’s why Cheney left Texas for Wyoming.
Don’t people remember?
Of the list I think Rubio isn’t a bad choice. I don’t think he’s MAGA really but he can speak to the “other” side of the party AND he has shown that he isn’t incapable of adjusting to the MAGA reality. His anti illegal immigration voice carries aot of weight right now because he was willing to do a pathway to citizenship in the past. I don’t think taking a strong voice out of the Senate is a great idea as the Repukes will probably purposely lose the seat. I think he would help to improve the McCain vote in places like AZ, GA, WI and I suspect he would help in VA. I’m not among those who is trying to box Trump in on the VP pick. Choose X or I’m out. I would like to see a non politician Carson or at least a non careerist. Burgum would be good help for governing and I could see him keeping the Trump trade posture but he doesn’t help with the electoral side (from what I can surmise).
That’s the one they want then.
Neither of Rubio's parents was a U.S. citizen at the time of Rubio's birth but they applied for U.S. citizenship and were naturalized in 1975. His parents first emigrated to the U.S. in 1956.
If they need someone with Hispanic heritage, I would choose Ted Cruz. He’s a bulldog and would do very well, IMHO. ( No one is perfect.)
This is pure BS. This is just Fox desperately trying to shill for a member of the RINO Establishment like Rubio. He and Scott would be the two worst possible picks with Stefanik 3rd. If he were to pick one of them, Trump would likely be dead within a year.
If however he picks somebody the deep state fears even more like JD Vance or maybe Byron Donald or Ben Carson, they wouldn’t try anything.
Rubio has made quite a few statements that I like, think will be good for the country. But his parents were not USA citizens when he was born and thus he is ineligible for the office.
Next candidate, please?
