The same issues that cause a lack of blood flow for men are also present in the brain, it appears.

Consequently, Viagra seems to help both small vessel locations.

So if Viagra improves brain function it might have an unintended effect on its other use, i.e. “nope, not doing dat!”

I took Viagra once, never again. My blood pressure went so high I thought I was going to have a stroke. It seems all that stuff does is raise your BP through the roof I assume with the idea that the high BP will ——>. Yeah OK it makes you “functional” but you also risk dying. I’m sticking to the old fashioned way to be functional: Don’t think of Hillary, Pelosi, Helen Thomas or any other democrat

Get ready for blue-tinted vision, a common side effect of sildenafil. I experience it. It's weird and disconcerting.
In rare cases, users may experience an odd side effect: changes in eyesight, including blue-tinted vision, that last for several weeks. The report, published Feb. 7, 2020 in the journal Frontiers in Neurology, describes the cases of 17 men who visited a hospital in Turkey with vision problems that persisted for more than 24 hours after they'd taken sildenafil.

The problems reported included blurred vision, sensitivity to light, reduced eyesight and changes to color perception, including "intensely blue-colored vision," a side effect known as cyanopsia. Those with cyanopsia also reported "red-green colorblindness," in which red and green hues appear to be brownish, the report said. None of the patients had a history of eye disease or colorblindness.

While it's known that sildenafil can cause temporary vision changes, including blurred vision and cyanopsia, these side effects typically disappear within 3 to 5 hours. Persistent vision changes, like those seen in this report, are much rarer. Fortunately, the vision problems for all of the men described in this report went away after 21 days.

If you have been focused on the same math problem for four hours then take a break.

Well, wasn’t it initially developed as a vasodilator to keep the blood flowing?

While in Afghanistan, medics told me it was in their box of drugs and could be used to treat altitude sickness.

I’ve read that Viagra can cause blindness. The sudden blood pressure can burst the tiny capillaries in the retina.
