Russia's new offensive into Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region has done what months of lobbying from President Volodymyr Zelensky could not: secured Kyiv's ability to fire advanced Western weapons at Moscow's forces within their borders.
The Russian drive into the Kharkiv border region—where fighting is ongoing some 15 miles north of Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city and an important political, economic, and cultural center—has prompted Kyiv's NATO backers into a flurry of diplomatic and military activity, with the result that Ukrainian cross-border strikes are now ravaging Russian forces operating in the Belgorod region.

I refuse to invest the time to wade into the sea of dubious information on either side of this war. The only observation I would make is, no matter how it ends, the infrastructure of Ukraine has been degraded to such an extent that, as a US taxpayer, I can already feel the pain of rebuilding it.
To: Nextrush
delusional...
My guess is that the first missile Ukraine launched into Russian territory that does NOT hit the intended target will open up Ukraine to the equivalent of Russian carpet bombing of civilian areas in response.
I mean. I get it. They WANT WWIII. They want the EU/US to send troops and confront Russia directly. And THIS is what they beieve will get them there.

Even a helping hand from WeakNews fiction writer David Brennan failed, and rubbed marcus the wrong way, in the end.

Yeah, we're expected to believe that the decision to have US ATACMs crews fire missiles into Russia proper was just made - when it was made WEEKS ago.

This can’t be true, because Putin is getting ready to raise the Russian flag over Kyiv and around other major cities in Ukraine. Putin the magnificent! Long live Putin!
Zelensky is said to be going into hiding, in the basement with Biden at the White House.

I wonder if they are already firing those weapons at the Russians inside Russian territory?
