I refuse to invest the time to wade into the sea of dubious information on either side of this war. The only observation I would make is, no matter how it ends, the infrastructure of Ukraine has been degraded to such an extent that, as a US taxpayer, I can already feel the pain of rebuilding it.

The US taxpayer should not be paying. This should be the EU countries paying.

why? Because the defense of Ukraine ensures the defense of EU member countries
