Condolences to the family. Losing your Mom is one of life’s hardest moments.

A child? Been there.
I’m gonna go through pain. We all do.
I will drink the driving rain and praise God.

Marion not Marian. The male name has an “o,” the female name has an “a.”

Would be interesting if someone could look up her births and see that she actually had two male children.

I recall it being spelled Marion, like the infamous mayor of DC who was fond of the extract of the coca plant.

The fact that her best-known offspring wrote an autobiography and titled it Becoming sets off alarm bells . . .

God working his way down the family tree? What did she die of? Is it inheritable?

The death of a child is far, far worse. The grieving never leaves you and it wipes the joy out of your life in ways hard to describe.
To: Lizavetta
losing a child is worse. I can tell you first hand that is true.
I lost my son 32 years ago and Im not over it yet. His mother drank herself to death about 3 years later.
