It has been mentioned on the news that the sentencing for Trump has been timed to occur a mere 3 days prior to the GOP convention. Furthermore, it is quite possible that Merchan could immediately handcuff DJT and sentence him to a lengthy incarceration with little that could be done to prevent this..

The current head of the Secret Service is a Biden appointee. In 2021 Biden awarded her some kind of distinguished service award that boosted her salary. If Biden orders her to back off and let New York take Trump, would she obey?

Laura Loomer has interesting information on Adam Schiff and Cong Goldman (?) regarding their “errors”. Adam Schiff claims his primary residence is in MD, IIRC, and yet votes in CA. The other guy tried to hide his payment to Merchan’s daughter’s company (but sent to Loren Merchan’s home address, not the company’s address in Chicago) by leaving the “s” off the end of one of the words in the company name.
The only challenge now is how to get a red-state DA or AG to have jurisdiction to try both those guys for those felonious “errors”.

Also, Elise Stefanik sent a letter questioning how the heck Merchan was “randomly chosen” amongst 28 judges and managed to get all 3 Trump-related cases.
Maybe somebody can calculate the odds of that happening.
I think somebody needs to find out the mechanics of how the “secretary” goes about “randomly assigning”. If Merchan can be found to have pulled strings he, too, could be charged with felonies...

It’s an outright admission that Trump did NOT receive equal protection under NY law.
All of these cases where they’ve clearly treated Trump differently - is there a way to force them to treat EVERYBODY the same way as they treated Trump, since that is now supposedly the standard protocol for handling these issues? If that happened, every businessman in NY would consider NY to be the plague and leave. Which it is.

If there was a way to do it I’d look to somebody like Ken Paxton to do it. The difficulty is the issue of jurisdiction.
Then again, Trump was convicted for supposed federal crimes in a state courtroom, so maybe the whole concept of jurisdictional limits is thrown out of the window too.
Or maybe - since New York was able to throw out the statute of limitations in order to allow E Jean Carroll to sue Trump regarding claims that are too old for there to be any fact-checking possible - maybe a state could pass a law GIVING THEMSELVES jurisdiction over another state’s criminals. It would be just as legal as what we’ve just witnessed, I think.
Is there a court order from the judge restricting Trump’s travel since he was “convicted” Not sure why he is remaining in New York City otherwise.
