A Kentucky high school allegedly withheld a graduate’s diploma when the student went off script during his graduation speech to preach his belief in Jesus.
Micah Price received the green light to praise Jesus Christ in his commencement speech at Campbell County High School in Alexandria, Ky., on May 24, but followed his address with “urging other Christians to stand up.”
“Class, before another word leaves my mouth, I must give the honor, the praise and the glory to my lord and savior Jesus Christ,” Price said to a packed Truist Arena at Northern Kentucky University.
His oration received resounding applause from the audience before he continued with his holy message.
“Who in his very words tells us he is the light, he is the way, the truth and life. Class, anyone in the audience today, I’m here to tell you that if you don’t have any of those things in your life and can’t seem to find the answer, then my lord and savior is your answer.”

Parents are weak, look at the hundreds of parents that allow their girls to participate in sports with mentally ill trans. Pull them out if the freaks are allowed to participate, that simple.
His acceptance to college is conditioned on him having received his HS diploma. He needs to sue, and, particularly, he needs to bring an action alleging that his civil rights have been violated under color of state law. 42 USC Sec. 1983.
His lawyer needs to make a demand of the Campbell County School Board that his diploma be delivered to him within 24 hours. If not, the lawsuit will be filed, and it will seek damages for intentional infliction of emotional distress, tortious interference with the student’s relationship with his college of choice, and punitive damages.
This sort of reminded me of when my daughter graduated Marine Corp Recruit Training.
As the graduating platoons were marching in, a young Marine in the last row of the last platoon to march in had his cover blow off his head. Within seconds he had 4 DI’s surrounding him barking at him to pick it up and then I heard one DI yell at him, “YOU AIN’T ON THAT BUS YET!”
If he had said “Mohammed is my master, allahu akhbar!” he would have been offered a high-paying job on the spot.
Absolute government violation of freedom of speech 1st amendment rights to demand “his” speech be approved, not mention God. and not be deviated from. This our long established. Go for punitive damages.
If true, then we need to absolutely gut the public education system. Do away with unions, and anyone that doesn’t appreciate someone else’s beliefs, with regards to religion, then perhaps they need to seek out another nation to live.

They withheld a worthless piece of paper, if he has the credits, he has graduated.
