I can tell you that at least 2/3rds of my normally traveled roads have something going on in Ohio. Slow moving projects taking things down to single lanes but also a lot with just cones setup and no real work going on

The money in Tennessee was used on existing projects under way or soon to start. Money being fungible, the existing appropriation funds were saved for future projects.

Most notably, Tennessee has a continuous interstate highway resurfacing program. The signs on those new projects went up quickly on the sections of interstate scheduled and contracted for resurfacing. There were other projects but the most noticeable were for work on the interstates.

Good question. You'll never get an answer though. Of the inflation relief bill of something like $1.7 trillion? something like 10% has been spent. Of all the thousands of worthless charging stations to be built something like less than 10 have been built in two years?

Gooberment, unaccountable, uncontrolled, uncontrollable, irresponsible and on.

Hopefully all of them. I'd hate to think that there is still a license to spend based on legislation from 3 years ago.

On the other hand, it's possible that one of the Planet of the Apes sequels will feature some government employee saying he's spending leftover money approved by Congress in 2021,
