Professional golfer and PGA Tour winner Grayson Murray died on Saturday morning at 30 years old, according to PGA officials.
"We were devastated to learn – and are heartbroken to share – that PGA TOUR player Grayson Murray passed away this morning," PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan said in a statement, adding, "I am at a loss for words."

Murray's cause of death is unknown at this time.
Monahan noted that the Charles Schwab Challenge will continue as scheduled and that he's been in contact with Murray's parents.
"I reached out to Grayson's parents to offer our deepest condolences, and during that conversation, they asked that we continue with tournament play," Commissioner Monahan continued. "They were adamant that Grayson would want us to do so. As difficult as it will be, we want to respect their wishes."
Murray's career in professional golfing was distinguished with several major titles, since becoming the second-youngest player to compete in the Korn Ferry Tour at 16 years old.
He won his second PGA Tour title at this year's Sony Open in Hawaii after winning the 2017 Barbasol Championship.

Suffered from alcoholism and depression is what they mention many times in the article, while never actually spelling out why he died. Seems like they are implying that he may have died by his own hand.

Apparently withdrew with two holes to go yesterday. He was on the bubble to make the cut had he finished with a birdie. Not feeling well. He was an alcoholic, eight months sober and according to a friend and fellow Gopher just on the CBS broadcast had found Jesus in the last year. Very sad. I suspect a cardio vascular event, but you just never know until the autopsy. VERY SAD. The Gopher who just played with him Thursday / Friday is being interviewed right now after finishing his 3rd round and it’s tough to watch.

Possibly suicide, but he was playing well today. As I listen to golfers being interviewed on camera, it seems less likely. He was doing well in the game, has lovely fiancee, much support from fellow players, and had just found faith in Jesus Christ.

I’ll just say that I’ve personally experienced bizarre behavior, irrational anger, in several of them - now 4 total - almost every one except one “fully vaxxed” - last one 3 days ago - I actually blocked his phone 📱
I don’t know what happened to this golfer 🏌️♂️⛳⛳⛳ but we’ll certainly never know the full truth on COVID-19(84).
