The Boys Scouts of America is changing its name to "Scouting America", marking the first change in its 114 years. The change is to make it more inclusive.

My issue is not along the lines of the “He-man Woman Hater’s Club”, it is the recognition that boys and girls are different, and that Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts should have been separate entities that didn’t allow membership by the opposite sex.
Boys and girls progress and interact differently. Having an environment in the Boy Scouts where it was only males allowed the group dynamic to proceed in a way that was impossible with females mixed in.
And I would say the same thing about the Girl Scouts not letting males in, for similar reasons. It is too bad one of the most common complaints was that Girl Scouts didn’t get to do all the “fun” things the Boy Scouts did, but why didn’t they? Why didn’t they go backpacking? Why didn’t they do the Mile Swim? Why didn’t they do the Order of The Arrow or it’s equivalent?
That was, and is, on them.
Now they force boys to have to be mixed in with girls, have open homosexuality, homosexual Scoutmasters, or female Scoutmasters.
It makes me angry to think of it.
That’s OK, this Eagle Scout stopped being a Boy Scout supporter a long time ago. (I think the last time I taught a merit badge course was right before they started going pro-gay.)

That's an old problem, and an indictment of the Girl Scouts' leadership. The Boy Scouts' program of "cool fun stuff" was never any secret.
Yes and no, girls are not joining boy scout troops, but they did set up a separate group for girls.
All of these types of organizations have been in decline for years, for many reason.
However, COVID lockdowns crushed memberships across the board... most are starting to recover, but are still well below pre-covid lock down levels.
Scouting is largely tied to churches, and church membership and attendance has been in decline for decades... Scouts, even without the homosexual stuff back in 2015 has been in decline.
Both BSA and GSA have gone to hell.
Wokeism/progressives/commies/dems/leftists ruin everything they touch. They are the most toxic substance known.
Our only choice is to kill them before they are born or put them in time out.

Somewhere in the cobwebs of my memory, I recall that they changed their name to Scouting USA, in the late ‘60s, so they could include some of the senior Girl Scouts.
Thought for the day. What if Girl Scouts was just a cookie company that uses free child labor? Think about it…

Years ago United Way demanded that BSA allow troop masters with questionable behavior. The Monterey, CA chapter approached David Packard (hp). He wrote a check for one or two years expenses and stated that that’d give them time to replace the sources.
