Scientists have identified what could potentially be the “deepest known blue hole” in the world, extending so far down that the bottom has not yet been reached.
Researchers described how the underwater abyss’s extensive depths could harbor a “biodiversity to be explored” in a recent study published in the journal Frontiers in Marine Science.
Indeed, new measurements taken during a December scuba-diving expedition indicate that the Taam Ja’ Blue Hole (TJBH), located in Chetumal Bay off the Yucatan Peninsula, extends at least 1,380 feet (420 meters) below sea level — nearly the height of Trump Tower in Chicago. That’s 480 feet deeper than the previous record holder, the Sansha Yongle Blue Hole, aka the Dragon Hole, in the South China Sea, which measures 990 feet to the bottom. Known in scientific circles as Karst formations, blue holes are actually vertical marine caves that were carved over thousands of years by glacial runoff during the Ice Age, according to Discovery.com.

An analysis of his tax returns by the newspaper revealed that when construction of Trump International Hotel & Tower hit financial trouble, a big bank and a hedge fund granted years of extra time to pay back his debts.
And much of this debt was forgiven, the Times reported.
That’s an interesting article. They work fairly hard to make unclear what part of the money owed was principal, accumulated interest, or projected interest. They also seem to be playing loose with how long the extra time was, and include the time dueling lawsuits were going on as part of the “years of extra time”.
“When the loans were due in 2008, the Trump International Hotel & Tower was still unfinished. Deutsche Bank initially granted Trump a six-week extension to repay the money, according to the report.”
It is BI, though, so not really surprising.
The Trump International Hotel and Tower, a towering skyscraper in downtown Chicago, Illinois, serves as both a condominium and hotel. Named after Donald Trump, the building was designed by architect Adrian Smith from Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Constructed by Bovis Lend Lease, the edifice spans 100 stories and stands at a height of 1,388 feet.

I doubt that this was “carved out” by glacial runoff, seeing as that would mean the sea level was at least 1,400 feet lower than what we have now.
Just looked it up, during the last “ice age” [officially we are still in the “ice age”] sea levels were estimated to be 400 feet lower than now. We only have 6.75 more years until that number becomes 400.5 feet and everyone dies.
That’s where all the mackerels go to play.

Sometime after that it became "offensive" and she would have stalked away.

1970 was the good old days… and you’re right - today would be a dangerous time to make any kind of observation about anyone. It’s amazing how radically things have changed.
It used to be a two-way street, too.
I was a freshman at Mizzou in fall 1969 and had a really cute and pretty blonde girlfriend who could could be a bit crazy at times. One day she was walking by the ROTC parade ground and all the cadets were standing at rigid attention. She yelled out as loud as she could “Hey, ROTC! Anybody wanna F*&K?” She said should could detect some smirks and quivers, but not much else.
I wasn’t there to see it, but to hear her tell it just made me crack up. Still cracks me up thinking about that.

It was carved out by several cycles of glacial runoff as sea levels fluctuated producing seawater/freshwater interfaces which are corrosive.
