Thousands of everyday snacks that face being BANNED in multiple states because their ingredients are linked to cancer - including Flamin' Hot Cheetos, Lucky Charms and Gatorade

Bills advancing in multiple states could see 'thousands' of America's favorite candies, snacks and sodas banned in their current form.

Last October California approved a historic 'Skittles ban' that outlawed four food additives linked to cancer and fertility issues.

Now, New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois have advanced similar measures, targeting a total of 13 additives that are already banned in some European countries over alleged health risks.

New Jersey and Missouri are also considering the bans. If passed, they would force companies to change their recipes or face legal action.

And experts say the moves could change the look, taste and texture of some Americans' favorite food items.

Brian Ronholm, director of food safety at Consumer Reports, a campaign group which has championed the bans, said: 'There is no consumer confusion on this issue — they want these chemicals out of foods.

'But when [consumers] see that the FDA has not been able to keep up with the latest research... they recognize that the states are the only ones trying to protect them from toxic food chemicals right now.'

He warned that thousands of food products including breakfast cereals, sweet treats and beverages could be impacted.

California's landmark 'Skittles Ban', set to go into force in January 2027, outlawed four additives — brominated vegetable oil, potassium bromate, propylparaben and Red 3

Our foods are and have been full of all sorts of unnatural and unhealthy ingredients approved by the on the take FDA for a very long time. GMOs being some of the worst.

Now with the mRNA medications many of US have become GMOs too.

No idea, what is the current “cooking” oil used in a varity of packaged cookies and crackers found at grocery stores, but samples from some un-salted “saltine” crackers, provide amazing results:

A cracker will float for 10 minutes without showing signs of absorbing the surrounding fluid.

The crackers are like waterproof cardboard with a smattering of “flavor.”

Of course, the clot shots are still OK with Kalifornica even though they cause cancer and fertility issues.

Gee.maybe they should drop the ‘artificially flavored’ chemicals that taste nothing like they are supposed to and go back to their original recipes that tasted good and made them popular.
Oh, wait, their profit margins will go down and that means the stock price will drop and that means that even though people are buying their products they are losers and must close shop - because Wall Street says so.

All you need to know about government food ideology is that in my childhood in the 1950s, milk was at the top of the food pyramid, with meat just below it.

I can’t stand Gatorade. Far too sugary.

Biolyte cut with a little water I can handle.

The sugar in that stuff is a serious problem all by itself.
You are well advised to quit.

My favorite snack is just plain potato chips. Three ingredients. Potatoes, vegetable oil, salt.

Can’t speak for all theses ingredients but red 3 is proof that the government is corrupt, on every level. This is literally made from petroleum, is known to cause neurological issues… nothing about it is food, in any sense… nothing.. yet the FDA approved it for human consumption. It is insane that this is in any food at all, let alone that it is in candy, a food targeted primarily to children.

Ain’t it funny how the same products made by the same companies that are sold in different countries do NOT have the harmful ingredients in them?

Almost as if they are intentionally poisoning Americans.

Folks, with the exception of canned goods and some jarred goods, very little of what comes out of the middle aisles is actually food.
