A mutant strain of monkeypox with 'pandemic potential' has been found in a town in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The virus is a descendent of the deadlier clade 1 mpox strain, but has evolved to become even more infectious and better at evading tests than its predecessor.
The concerning discovery was made in Kamituga – a poor, densely populated gold mining town that is feared to be ripe for an explosive outbreak. So far there have been 108 cases.
Researchers who detailed the virus in a pre-print have called for 'urgent measures' to contain the virus and avoid a global outbreak.

In infectious disease practice (45 years now) it’s not unusual to run across “normal people” who have had encounters, with their spouses and otherwise, who have gotten infected and then infect the “normal person”.
My very first syphilis case in practice was a kid (teenager) who went to Philadelphia and saw the Celtics beat the 76ers and to celebrate went out to get some “brown sugar”. You met this kid - you’d say - “nobody more normal than him”.
By allowing faggots to donate blood they are trying to make it our problem. Shades of when Fauci and company resisted efforts to prevent them giving blood till they could trot out that poor kid who got it from a transfruion.

The Congo natives are eating bushmeat (wild animal meat) that is responsible for numerous EID outbreaks, such as Ebola, HIV, and SARS. Now it’s monkeypox.
Just send the sick to San Antonio Tx under cover of night and drop them off on the city streets without telling the citizens. That’s how they do it with Ebola.
