Is it all downhill from here?
Powerball lottery winner Edwin Castro’s West Hollywood manse was narrowly missed by a landslide this week, aerial images showed — as the crumbling hillside buried half a neighboring home in dirt.
Castro’s $25.5 million sprawl was just feet away from the landslide that crashed through the tony Hollywood Hills neighborhood following this week’s storm, according to images obtained by the US Sun.

Good thing he’s not burning through his money so fast
Whew! Good thing Edwin wasn’t sitting on top of all that.
The guy seems like kind of an idiot to me. Even so, I just wish I were close pals with him. ;)
...come and listen to a story ‘bout a man named Jed...
He is one lucky dude.
cant believe people dont think these things thru....smh.
A few more landslides will cover that house.
Hope the owner wanted a cave house.
If the house slides down... he can have a boat house!
a fool and his money are soon parted.
The one thing everyone wants and needs is a $25 million dollar house to live in.
Indeed.
Terrible investment.
He’ll be living in a cardboard refrig box, in a vacant city lot, in 3-4yrs...
Why do we care?
It’s his money.
Why someone with that much money and so little investment experience would worry about investing wisely is strange to me.
Buy a nice house in a gated and guarded community. Buy one to five really nice cars that fit in your one to five car garage. Give out one time cash awards to family/friends/people-who-helped-you-along-the-way. Give some money to a few worthwhile charities. Put the rest in an index money market. Live off the dividends.
Good thing he’s invested the rest of his money wisely!!! Hahahagahahhaha I crack me up hagagagaha
To me, a $25M house seems extravagant and risky (when built on the side of a hill in an earthquake-risk area and uninsurable for collapsing), even if you have a $100M.
What an idiot to invest his money in real estate. He should have wisely invested in hookers and cocaine like a normal person.
