Depends on how you use your crypto (and witch one you use)...for Bitcoin if you use a new “wallet”...(private key) and buy/mine BTC anonymously and never reuse an address you are anonymous. If you use an exchange like “Coinbase” that utilizes “KYC” (Know Your Customer) then your transactions/addresses can be “tracked”/associated to you personally. Practice “self-custody”, never reuse addresses and utilize a “whirlpool mixer” if you obtained your BTC from a public exchange and you will retain your privacy.
