A Swedish MP who advocated for open borders during the 2015 refugee crisis said she has completely changed her mind and now wants to see a significant number of deportations.
Louise Meijer, a lawmaker with the now-governing Moderate Party, previously “took a stand for openness” and supported the ‘Refugees Welcome’ mantra, but now wants to pull up the drawbridge completely.
“But I have changed my mind on the matter,” she told Expressen, adding she now supports “an even stricter migration policy than the one I opposed at the time.”
“The change that Sweden has undergone and is undergoing is fundamentally changing the country,” said Meijer, noting that “mass immigration has been followed by several major problems.”

“If you have lived in a country that has been peaceful for what? 200 years? You have a lot of normalcy bias and leftist training about your whiteness and racism to overcome. I hope she breaks the dam and allows others to acknowledge the failure of leftist wokeness.”
I call it HUB Syndrome, which is a common ailment of most leftists. It is often confused with the term “having blinders on”, but when your leftist head is so far up your “....”, it’s like having blinders on... only it’s a lot more dark and dank.

Don't underestimate the power of Hollywood.
For generations, Hollywood has been exporting films and TV shows which depicted the wisdom, honesty, and benevolence of peoples of colors -- and the evil ugliness of exclusionary "racism."
Swedes never had colonies. They had little first hand experience with diversity, other than what they saw on their imported TV shows.
The Swedes’ ability to make massive course corrections on national policy in a rational way is one of their superpowers.

Well, when you think about it... in perspective... Americans, back then, were just as stupid (woke-blinded) for importing their own future demise and destruction... all for $$$ (or to save $$$) vs. paying for labor. In hindsight, if they could have seen into the future, I’m pretty sure that they would have picked their own damn cotton... or budgeted for that ‘salary’ expense. They underestimated the consequences ... just as people are doing now.

After a group reaches about 15 percent they become significant politically. In this case, the Muslims are already there and climbing even without more immigration, since Muslims reproduce at much higher rates than infertile, narcissistic, self-aborting Swedes. Fifteen percent means the complete imposition of sharia is guaranteed for certain areas, and in the rest of the country’s geography sharia factors into the lives of ordinary citizens.
The demographic trends exceed the ability to turn around the invasion the Swedes foolishly endorsed.
People brought up in modern leftist western schools know very little about how reality works.

More than that. In 1995 one of them told me they the biggest problem they had was the moslem situation.
