Conservatives ask, “What do they, (liberals) want, what’s the end-game” when attempting to analyze their policies, practices and motives.
Today’s liberals deplore personal freedom because it defies their desire for oversight and control. They prefer a master plan that usurps individuals for the greater good of the entire group. Individual freedom is impossible to control and monitor and therefore needs to be suppressed and eliminated. The basis for this level of control is that the overlords believe they are smarter than the hordes. In their need for self-justification, liberals feel that these great unwashed masses, for their own good, need to be managed by the benevolent intelligentsia they think that they are.
Our founders were rich, White, slaveholding men and therefore have no moral authority. This allows for the attacks on our Constitution and is essential to justify the dismantling of America.
The USA has been too White, too male, too rich, too fortunate, and too dominant. We stole this land from the Indians, we used slaves to enrich ourselves, we killed millions in imperialist wars, marginalized women, and dropped the atomic bomb on civilians.
Liberals have opened the borders and looked the other way while the gradual browning of America takes place and with it, in theory, millions of new liberal voters. White men are vilified and systematically replaced with affirmative action candidates that represent a higher degree of importance in checking off boxes than actual competence.
Inflation, purposefully foolish monetary policy, confiscatory tax policy, manipulated interest rates, and energy policies designed to be very costly are all intended to steal our wealth. “Fair Share” tax schemes fleece the wealthy while the Earned Income Tax Credit pays the poor back much more than they contributed. We pay people to be lazy while strangling the producers, innovators, entrepreneurs and risk-takers...

Not just liberals. The Republican congress critters are all in with this agenda too.
I have never seen the head of the nail hit so squarely as this.
I will argue that the result of progressive rule is crime ridden cities with effectively no law.
There is no law because the citizens have chosen to be free of the legal restraints and customs that govern a civilized society.

Those of us believers can see the Endtime puzzle pieces being assembled, and it appears the US isn’t going to be in the final picture. We need Revival.

America is done. Look at the illegitimacy rates and percentage of homos and bi’s among reproductive age cohort. The $200 Trillion in unpayable debt. The grooming and mutilation of children while most parents don’t care.
I will argue that is a bit of an overstatement, Bert. Not all citizens, perhaps not even in most of the states a majority of the voters.
The anti-MAGA, socialists, communists, one-worlders also doubted in 2020 that there was a majority, or they would not have gone to the lengths they did to blatantly risk stealing the election.
Indeed, it appears it was more a few state and most federal politicians who chose as you say, "...to be free of the legal restraints and customs that govern a civilized society."
A post-mortem report, if honest historians ever appear, will likely observe that with relaxed voting controls elections became unreliable; even then, many of the voters did not understand the long-term effects of the issues they were voting for.

My post was intended to describe the progressives among us who achieve freedom by disregarding law and custom. When I say among us, I really mean the progressives who have segregated themselves within the City States.
My thoughts do not apply to the entire population and especially to those who strive to promote and continue the American version of civilization
