Well, I am not making it up. He was indeed an Irish friend of mine at the time who told me that joke.

It's like the Vietnamese friend who asked me if I knew how they named their children. I said no of course, and his response was; We throw the silverware up and whatever noise it makes is the child's new name. I totally lost it on that one, because I was not even expecting a joke at all. 🤣

I saw that book on Amazon, and was surprised that it didn’t seem to have a Welsh Rarebit recipe.

Looks good! I am going to try it. They sell rabbit at the butcher shop although it’s been years since I had any.
