"In Russia last year 400 people were arrested for what they said on social media"
"How many people do you think were arrested in Britain?"
3300.

In Canada Trudeau will arrest anyone that thinks
Europe has lost freedom of speech online
Coming soon to America?
That sounds familiar.
“Coming soon to America?”
It is here... There have already been a few “MAGA supporter Domestic Terrorists” shot to death by the FBI.
Was protecting us so far is our constitution. Whenever I hear about something like this in the news I always learned to ask the question, did this happen in the US or did it happen in a European country or canada. Every single time it’s not the us.
When it comes to the protection of the privacy of citizens, the United States constitution is the best one on the planet. It may not be perfect, but it’s way ahead of whatever is in second place. And that is why it is enemy number One to the left. They would like nothing better than to completely gut it. But they know that would probably take a shooting war.
Which reminds me, the movie, civil war, is coming out on tax day.
J6 commentary could get you popped......
What? Already here! How many are in prison from attending a protest on J6?
They will do it here too. I do not fear Russia. I am very concerned, however, about the American Left. Because of the Left I feel I need to carry a weapon at all times. Prior to their rise I did not feel that need. It was better then.
Coming...How many “voices” were arrested from the Jan 6th gathering.
Damn Limeys!
In Britain too. White people are serving time in prison for “hate speech” on social media.
Before anything else, what was said? Who bloody cares about numbers except accountants and bookies? What was said?
“Russia Division X is going to Crimea” — treason
First, describe the crime. Then, worry about the numbers.
People in Britain are going to prison for years for offering bumper stickers for sale that say perfectly legal (so says the Brit court and the judge) things, like: White lives matter. In this specific case the judge wrote that he sentenced the guy to discourage any others from THINKING the same things.
Not committing a crime. Not advocating violence. Simply disagreeing with gov’mt mandated THOUGHT.
“J6 commentary could get you popped......”
Yep... Guilt of thought crimes by association. The suppression of free speech is driving me crazy. But we are not in Kansas anymore, and this same guilt by association extends to personal innocent family and friends of these targets too. So trying to chest bump against the powers that be is now placing our innocent loved ones in possible harm. They have set up an environment of extortion that hampers free speech to all those but the few who do not have much to lose or any loved ones to worry about.
Unfortunately rationality, prudence, and logical self defence practices are in order. Free speech is not free anymore. They will stomp whoever we indirectly drag into it without mercy. Even innocent bystanders are not safe. I think the FR has lost a lot of participation based on this very reality and prudence to disassociate from those who are far more overconfident than is logical and prudent in this current environment.
A guy in Utah was murdered by the FBI for comments he posted online.
If you care so damn much about Russia, GO TO UKRAINE and fight the Russians.
The rest of us are sick of this ridiculous agenda that puts Russia ahead of our massive number of problems under Biden.
Sorry. I see this post was about the greater number arrested in Britain.
“I think the FR has lost a lot of participation based on this very reality and prudence to disassociate from those who are far more overconfident than is logical and prudent in this current environment. “
I’ve been thinking the same thing. Plus I’m under Canadian law so it is potentially even worse.
I’m going to keep supporting FR regardless, as it may be one of the few communications platforms when corporate social media is completely closed to us.

Of course... Same here. But like the “speakeasy” during prohibition some defensive measures would be productive so that folks could relax and participate with less concern. Even if temporarily until the ship rights it’s self and free speech is no longer a crime.
