That is something good to ponder this Sunday afternoon.
It is so true - we have experienced some pretty monumental forgiveness and healing in extended family recently, as my daughter suffered emotional upheaval.
I think this is why we are supposed to be open about things. Always have a heart that is willing to forgive, as the colleague so graciously did. I think one of the things that makes forgiveness very easy sometimes, is the mere confession of wrong doing, and being humble enough to admit it and ask for forgiveness. Very few people would opt to not forgive when approached with a humble and contrite heart.

The last week or so in my area of the Tri-Cities, we have had a couple of teens shot and killed a 27 yr. old highway patrolman shot and killed. 2 missing people. Probably even more that I missed reading about.
How about “one tequila, 2 tequila, 3 tequila, floor!”.
When I lived in Alpine we drank tequila with the worm in it. Just shake the bottle good and don’t think about it. That’s what I did, anyway.
Oh wow. And here’s me thinking it’s a nice warm day because it’s shooting up to 45 degrees lol.
I’m jealous at the moment, but I know your summers are brutal, so I’ll be happy with my 45 degree March day lol.

Yesterday I was talking to my son to ask how he had enjoyed a night out on Friday. They went into Hamilton for dinner and a comedy show. He was stunned. I guess it’s been a few years since he’s been in downtown Hamilton. He said there are tents everywhere, about a hundred of them on the city hall property. People out on the streets with mental issues, screaming and carrying on. He said there were zombie-like people, and numerous people on drugs who stand up but they’re bent right over practically touching the sidewalk (I think that’s fentanyl).
I was surprised to hear that it’s like that in good ol’ Hamilton, where I grew up. You never saw such things years ago. Truly tragic.

Lol nah. Even though tequila supposedly makes clothes fall off, Dolly kept her T shirt on. I guess she didn’t make it to 3 margaritas lol. We’re so proud of her!
When I was young I was on all kinds of medications, expensive too! For digestive system problems. My friend was in nursing school at the time. I went to visit her and started reading her drug book. All the drugs I was taking had opposite side effects. Constipation and diarrhea, etc.
I decided then and there I wasn’t taking any of them anymore, and didn’t.

CottonBall got that old book I read years ago that suggested we ignore most of what these people tell us, especially if it flies in the face of what people have been doing for years.
Her name is Gladys Lindberg and she was telling people to eat eggs, at the same time we were listening to the experts tell us that eggs were going to kill us lol. She said eat the whole egg - the lecithin in the white properly dealt with the cholesterol in the yolk. She also said that the anti-egg findings were from a Russian study and that they basically tube fed egg yolk to rabbits. Just egg yolk, no white makes it flawed, and in the second place, rabbits do not eat eggs. I like her simple, down-to-earth wisdom.
She also told the story of how they disposed of a large container of old margarine once by burying it in the back yard. Doing some digging years later, they discovered the margarine, perfectly intact. Didn’t break down one iota. They switched back to butter immediately after that. Margarine and its fake ingredients....not good.
