I have one spice grinder that I make contents: fennel, Italian seasoning, granulated garlic, celery seed, rainbow pepper combo w/allspice , sea salt, dried parsley.
As alternate to garlic bread I put on bread butter, Parmesan and generous grinding of this. Bake or broil. Also on burgers, pork or beef roasts in crock, and in homemade salad dressings, on greensbeans
Peppercorn mix from Amazon. Allspice from Amazon use 4:1 peppercorn to allspice

Glad your appt was bumped up. Hopefully you’ll find a solution for the problem not just drugs to cover up or neutralize symptoms. It all takes so long with tests waiting for appts etc
There are several of us who share chronic back issues. The muscle relaxer I’m on has helped but not a true test as I spend a LOT of time on back on heating pad. Suppine

Which notable actors have intentionally accepted a role to do a movie that their kids could watch?
When he was offered the role of Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Viggo Mortensen wasn’t sure he wanted to do it because he had never read the books and he didn’t know a thing about the story or characters, but when he spoke with his son, Henry, who was 11 years old at the time, he convinced him to take the role.
In 2018, while promoting Green Book on ‘Live Kelly and Ryan’, he was asked if it was true that he was talked into taking the role and he stated:
I’m a slow starter and I’m very aware I have to be talked into most roles. With Lord of the Rings, I hadn’t read the books and I was a last-minute replacement. They were already filming, and my son said ‘Who are you playing?’ I go ‘Well, it’s this guy, it’s in the woods with the small people’. I didn’t know. He goes ‘In the woods with the small people? That guy becomes the king.’ I go ‘He does? A king?’, and he goes ‘You gotta do it, you gotta do it!’

Spielberg, Robbins and Williams
On this date in 1994, at the 66th Academy Awards, Steven Spielberg was awarded the Oscar for Best Director for “Schindler’s List” (1993).
Spielberg initially intended to make the film in Polish and German with English subtitles, but rethought the idea because he felt he wouldn’t be able to accurately assess performances in unfamiliar languages.
During production, the atmosphere was so grim and depressing that Spielberg asked his friend Robin Williams if he could tell some jokes and do comedy sketches while Spielberg would watch episodes of “Seinfeld.” Some of Williams’ sketches, while played through the speaker phone to the cast and crew, ended up being part of dialogue material for his character in “Aladdin” (1992), the Genie.
Spielberg was able to get permission to film inside Auschwitz, but chose not to, out of respect for the victims, so the scenes of the death camp were filmed outside the gates on a set constructed in a mirror image of the real location on the other side.
When Spielberg first showed composer John Williams a cut of this movie, Williams was so moved he had to take a walk outside for several minutes to collect himself. Upon his return, he told Spielberg he deserved a better composer. Spielberg replied, “I know, but they’re all dead.” Williams would be awarded an Oscar this night, as well.
At his insistence (citing that it would be “blood money”), all royalties and residuals from this movie that would normally have gone to Spielberg instead are given to the Shoah Foundation, which records and preserves written and videotaped testimonies from survivors of genocide worldwide, including the Holocaust.
When Spielberg returned to Cal State Long Beach to earn his BA, thirty-four years after dropping out, his film professor accepted this movie in place of the short student film normally required to pass the class.
“Schindler’s List” was awarded seven Oscars in total, including Best Picture (earning Spielberg a second Oscar). Another Speilberg-directed film, “Jurassic Park” (1993), was awarded three.
Five years later on this date, Spielberg would win his second Best Director Oscar for “Saving Private Ryan” (1998). (Wikipedia/IMDb)

Great idea, I’m never sure about using whole fennel seeds
