I’ve been out too - using the last 3 days coming out of hybernation ( takes awhile of stretching etc. Ha!)...so today am well on the move prepping the deck for Spring with all it’s furnishings, it’s really another room as I’m out there often in warm weather. And entertain company there too. But needs a good cleaning first.
I no longer read all the day to day issues - I now check for the final results of whatever’s going on rather than get my pants in a knot very day. A brief overview is good enough to stay informed.

Your deck sounds lovely. And I’m jealous you’re having spring already! If I stayed in California, the almond trees and orange trees would all be in bloom.
Weather here in east Tennessee is in the 70s today. But I can’t plant until May 15, we could have a frost anytime, and I’m sure we will several times before then.

They sure are! Right now I’m outside on the pool house swing, Cooper was right with me on his blanket that I put out here so he had something soft. Cats, they’re out here somewhere. Cadberry actually does check on me periodically, if I go in the house, even the basement, he’ll come and find me
meow a little bit and then go back out. But Cooper would stick with me even if I’m n the boring house. When we went for a little hike on the AT, he loves to lead as he is an alpha dog. But every 150 feet or so, he would stop and run back to make sure I was still there. And then run to the front again. He got double the exercise!
I feel like I have a little guardian angel, and I don’t know what I did to deserve such love.
I hate that he is 13. And that he is on anti-inflammatory medicine for arthritis. I find myself saying no to a lot of outings and invites, if I can’t take him. I should be there for him in his twilight years, like he’s been there for me the last 13 years.

I couldn’t get out fast enough! And Sacramento has been making more and more insane decisions since we left, a lot of people I know want to get out as well.
